  1. Thanks Schill, Was hoping one of you guys would do that. I think Fukudome will be another Matsui. Which might not be to bad at the right price. But we have a loaded OF depth wise and don't need another. The whole trading Manny will come up again, but I don't thtink you replace Manny with Fukudome. He might be good if the Sox get another good bat to go along with him. Taking to good hitters and replace 1 really good one wouldn't be that bad to the lineup. I'm not advocating we trade Manny, just putting out scenarios.
  2. Drew is short on HR's. Everything else is pretty close to his career avg.
  3. Drew didn't start out great but is around his avg now. Hes close to .270, his OBP is ok, his HR production is down but was he really a big HR threat? He's hitting alot of doubles and playing good RF.
  4. Nice shot, but that pitcher was crap. The Japan players loose alot of power when they come here. So I don't think he will be putting up the same numbers here. He still might be a 20-25 HR guy which isnt bad, but hes not a 35-40 threat.
  5. Hey guys heard something new, I know its from MLBtraderumors, but its siting another source. Says KW wants 2 top prospects and another player but might end up settling for one. It mentions the Dodgers, Mariners and another club as most interested. Then adds the Sox as being back in it in a deal that might send Lugo packing for Chicago... Anyone else hear this or know anything else?
  6. Yes it does seem we have some options in the OF. What to do about it tho i'm not sure. WMP is producing the least of the bunch. But that could change quickly. Coco could go bottoms up and WMP could get hot in the 2nd half. Or it might stay the same. Coco, is young, cheap, fast, plays a good CF and is finally starting to show life at the plate. He probably has some trade value at this point. But I don't know if its a good idea to move him or to keep him. Problem is Jacoby is basically the same player, but younger, cheaper. Neither is going to be a big run producer. So I don't think that both of them can be on the same roster. One is surely to go. I guess it all depends on what is coming back to us. That may determine who leaves. If one of them can net us Salty from ATL, I'd do it. But it would most likely take a few players. Maybe they would take Coco, so they can fill in the CF hole next yr, plus 1 or 2 decent prospects, and not Bowden, Buccholz, Ellsbury.
  7. I think SOTK said that they where going to bring up Breslow or Hughes. Not positive tho...
  8. UMMM you guys, Tex is a FA after the 2008 season, not this off season.
  9. Man, Delcarmen is looking good. Maybe we don't need to trade for a BP arm if he continues to pitch like this... Figures soon as I give him props, he loses control...
  10. f***ing horrible call. This um blows, I don't usually bitch about umps but this guy is all over the damn place...
  11. Usually when Wake loses it, he loses it quick, maybe thats why...
  12. Too bad, all those runs besides 1 get chalked up to Wake. No wonder his ERA is hi, the BP never helps him out.
  13. Good grief, do they have to make every game close?
  14. And Dougie reverts back to Mr. Magoo...
  15. Nice work by Wake, 6 pitches...
  16. Ya I told my girlfriend to watch he'll beat it out, forgot about the force out LOL
  17. Gone!!!!!!!!!!!! 7-1!!!!!!!!!
  18. JD is looking like the $70M man LOL
  19. He needsto pitch good, he never gets much run support, he needs to take advantage of it.
  20. Jacoby is looking real good. I was one that said hes better off staying in AAA to refine his skills, but he keeps playing like this they should trade either Coco or WMP and keep him on the big league roster. He looks like he could be that exciting catilyst for this team.
  21. They got Jackson against the ropes....
