    Drew- .256 avg, .385 SLG, .366 OBP, 50 R, 6 HR, 69 hits, 33 RBI(80 games) Abreu- .263 avg, .387 SLG, .348 OBP, 63 R, 7 HR, 91 hits, 49 RBI(91 games) There not that far apart. Take in the fact Drew has played less because of injuries(both have injury bug) and take the fact this is JD's 1st yr in the league, Abreu has had time to adjust into consideration.

    Ryan Howard has brains for one and has a great work ethic. WMP has no brains, and apparently no work ethic. WMP also has nowhere to play. Philly was willing to move Thome to make room for Howard because Thome was hurt and ha d a huge contract. Theres no one like that one the Sox.

    Ok his power numbers are down, I for one didn't expect more then 15-20 HRS, but his avg. has been steadily coming up, and is within striking distance of his career norm. He is getting on base at a decent clip, scoring runs and playing a good RF. He may not be worth 70M, but since i'm not paying the salary I don't care. Hes an improvement over Nixon and was the best available RF.

    Houston's owner says Lidge is going nowhere. I'm glad he did this because I didn't want to see a top prospect head out of town for a RP.

    I support a big market team and am proud of it! With all the losing I had to go threw when I was a kid between the Pats and Sox, i'm glad now that they spend money and are competitive, thats about as much as I can ask for from them.

    We wouldn't be giving up much of anything. probably mostly money. If sanders comes in I think it means WMP will be dealt. Sanders will become the 4th OF and RH bat off the bench.

    Kendall is a good fit for the Cubs. Now they got a Vet C, and the hitter friendly ballpark might do him some good.
