Joba's velocity is a major, major concern. I don't expect to see him in the post-season as a starter, and I think the Yankees may have to realize that Joba at 91-92 is not going to cut it as a starter. I don't know if he can hit 96-99 as a reliever, but if he can, that's where he needs to be.

I would still have had one more chance with Pujols. It was a great season, a great playoff, and it went down to the final at-bat. Arod is and was a great player before he took steroids. Ortiz is a scrub who is a borderline major league player unless he is on performance enhancing drugs. Your two championships were won mainly in due to the Ramirez and Ortiz, two players who are outed as PED users. Without them, the curse still lives. End of story.
