  1. 2009 World Champions. Keep it going dude.
  2. Why would he be? He has a weak farm system, and the worst team in the west, and his best pitcher was traded last year. He can revamp his team, and unlike Felix, I don't see the Padres turning this around quickly.
  3. You are too funny. Where did you ever get the idea that they wouldn't trade him? Eventually they will. In what way did I make anything up? Why is it that everyone else in this thread read it the same way that I did? Why would a GM EVER say he wasn't interested in trading ANY player? How does it hurt to listen? How does it hurt to not get other teams involved in a bidding war. You think the Mets wouldn't be interested? The Angels [moving Morales to DH]? Pretty much every team..including the Yankees would be involved. The only teams not involved would be the Cardinals. Every AL team would be in there, as well as every NL team. Why wouldn't he listen? Clueless. Completely clueless. True stupidity. Really. Honestly. You have no clue. Did that Insta-boner shrivel up yet? I f***ing love it!!! I f***ing love it. I really do. You've supplanted Jacko as my favorite whipping boy. At least he makes sense and adds some intelligence and research to the board. You lie, make s*** up, and prance around like you know something when you have no clue.
  4. Every single person in this thread disagrees with you...but I'm the idiot. Explain, o clueless one...
  5. No matter. Halladay ensures a new stretch of Yankee dominance.
  6. First thing...we're not the Red Sox. We're not happy with fielding a competitive team that makes the playoffs and hopes to get lucky. Secondly, the Yankees made some serious dough this year. You want to validate $1200 seats? You gotta get the stars. You aren't going to sell out those seats with Hairston and Swisher. Thirdly, acquiring a Halladay puts you in the drivers seat for the next two to three years. You can effectively shut down the AL East until 2012. I say do it. You have three years to build up that farm system again. My two cents, anyways.
  7. It's funny. Last year, Abreu got killed. This year, he may have signed the best deal.
  8. OF course. Hoyer is in the much stronger position. He knows the Red Sox players better than Theo knows the Padres players. Of course...Theo only wants ONE player...LOL!
  9. Latest on Halladay: If this is true, then the Yankees are strong at pitcher and catcher, the Red Sox are strong at pitcher, and neither team has a shortstop worth a bucket of piss to offer. I see it at this time...in order: Yankees, Phillies, Red Sox, Angels. However, this can flip after the next quote.
  10. Dojji, of course. However, he's more likely to know the players than someone who wasn't in the organization.
  11. The great thing is that Figgins helps bring the market down a bit. A players of his versatility, both on offense and defense is getting 9 mil a year. This can't help Damon.
  12. That may be a bit much, example1.
  13. It depends..if it's done early in spring training, that's ok. If you open the season there, it's another story.
  14. Wanna put your money where you mouth is?
  15. Magglio is killing them. They should never have let that option vest.
  16. As usual, Dipre is clueless. Knowing your organization as well as he does, he knows the over-rated players as well as the diamonds-in-the-rough. Whether a deal is made or not, it will definitely be more EXPENSIVE to deal with him.
  17. So does anyone agree with the premise I laid out?
  18. I take my eyes over fielding metrics any day. Which is why I love Molina.
  19. A 4.16 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP. Why not?
  20. No...the others. I actually deleted his PM without reading it. I only open PMs from people I like. I think, at least. I honestly can't remember. I'm getting old, lol. I'm off to Wendy's.
  21. Easier. You're putting together a winning team, and they wouldn't spend it if they didn't have it.
  22. Not according to anyone else but you and you two lackeys. I wish I kept the PMs.... Again...stats made up. I LOVE IT!! Can't eat pizza. Gotta watch my health.
  23. Difference is that I don't make them up...and yes, I watch the games. You make up stats. Which is worse? Don't make me hit you with a rolled up newspaper now. On another note...help me decide, I have ten minutes. Wendy's salad or Mickey D's?
  24. That's because you stopped making up stats, and actually READ what I write now. I knew you'd come around. Just like a puppy...I finally got you housebroken.
