  1. Yes. I am proud that I have the smartest penis in the history of mankind.
  2. Not really. You are asking a young kid to move to another country to play baseball. Nearly all players start out playing in their home country one way or another. Either way, you have to agree that the system needs fixing.
  3. The gynecologist denied them. Pavano is on the rag right now.
  4. Valid points all. However, I will point this out. I'm sure white ballplayers didn't want niggers to play with them. Some of them came out and said so. You see how that worked out. The ancestors of those white players are cheering the ancestors of the same niggers they wanted to keep out. I put the language in to show the mindset of the time. The point is, everyone deep down inside knows that everyone has the right to play in the MLB, regardless of race, color, creed, etc. Sooner or later, everyone leaves the game. The infusion of talent can only help baseball, not hurt it. Regardless of what happens with Matsuzaka, the system is broken, and will need to be fixed. How....I'm not really sure. Would be an interesting point of debate and/or discussion.
  5. I notice my arch-enemy hasn't responded. I wonder why?
  6. Worked out pretty poorly for Dave McNally and Andy Messerschmidt. Point is, it won't go that long. The issue, if it ever came to that, would be taken care of in weeks, if not a couple of months, like it did in the 70's. Also, the reference to Clarett is weak. First of all, he simply didn't have the talent to compete in the the NFL, and they have the weakest union in pro sports. Imagine instead it was Reggie Bush. What do you think the end result would have been? One again, I'm debating the point, not whether or not it will happen. I still believe, much to my chagrin, that he will sign on the final day, or more likely, the final few hours.
  7. Thank you. I also want to thank everyone for making this a good thread too. After all, deep down inside, we are all baseball fans, and can all relate. Keep it coming, this has to be one of my favorite threads so far.
  8. On another note...considering that I gave you guys credit for winning the Matsuzaka post, and kudos for signing Drew and Lugo, can't you admit the Yankees made a nice move in bringing back Pettitte?
  9. Ok all...time for another one of my fun posts. For all you fans of both teams, who is your favorite player on the other side? The guy you secretly root for and wish was on your team? Please say why as well. Now, I know there will be some morons who will say that they can't stand anyone on the other team. I already said it for you. Don't bother. Seriously. Ok..I'll begin...being a Yankee fan....my favorite player has to be Manny. I was at the stadium when he threw the ball in the stands with two out [he thought that his catch was the third out] and Pedro was pitching. Pedro covered up his face with his glove, he was laughing so hard. I have season tickets out in the right field bleachers, and we kept chanting "You f***ed up! You f***ed up!". Finally he turned to us and raised his hands up in the air as if to say "Yeah, yeah, I f***ed up, I know" and he got a rousing cheer from us. You gotta love a guy like that. That coupled with the fact that he is the most dangerous right handed hitter I've ever seen makes him my favorite on the other team.
  10. Japanese pride and honor...hmm....December 7th, 1941? Money talks. Pride and honor go out the window. There are few things worse in life than a scotch whisky hangover. I am dealing with it today. In a very big way.
  11. A festering sore you are. Soon...we shall have a cure. Soon... Dude, I hope you never leave this board. You may be clueless, but you are a shitload of fun. Have a drink on me!
  12. Why? You may have a chance at winning a debate now? LOL! There is no rule that says they cannot. Not unless Selig jumps in and says so, and so far he hasn't. Hee hee! Probably. I thought it would damage whatever team got him.
  13. Damn it. Oh well...time for another shot!
  14. I don't think so either...but I like reminding you guys that it can...my hate has made me more powerful than you can possibly imagine. LOL! P.S. These boards are so much more fun when I'm hammered!
  15. I'm laughing because a700 quoted my text and didn't write anything..go back and look...before he corrects it, lol.
  16. Now THAT is funny. Agreed.
  17. Then why sign Boras as your agent if it's not about the money? I respectfully disagree here.
  18. The Yankees chances of signing Clemens just went up with the Pettite signing...imagine this....Matsuzaka doesn't sign with the Sox...Boras buys out the Lions, and Mats signs with the Yankees...and the next day, Theo goes out and brings back Clemens. That would be some crazy s***, you have to admit...okay, now where did I put that bottle of Johnnie Walker?
  19. Ooh..just OODLES AND OODLES of progress in three weeks....admit it...you guys are getting nervous. If the roles were reversed, I'd be. It's okay to admit you're scared.
