Ok, so then everything anyone says is conjecture..until it's done. So basically, anything anyone says when it comes to the Hot Stove is ********. It doesn't matter who they are, as long as it's not something you'd like to believe, it's ********. I get it. Dipre trumps Edes when it comes to reporting to the Red Sox. Thanks for clearing it up. I feel relieved now.

I must tell you...after years of fearing your lineup, especially with the PED Boys probably the most fearsome duo baseball had seen in years...your lineup is really ordinary. Spots 5-9 are pretty much a vacation [today's lineup].

Can't change it once the season starts. Also, it makes teams scramble a bit. Makes people more likely to pull the trigger on deals.

Hey...it wouldn't be "Fearless" if it was routine. I could have gone out there and predicted the Yankees would make the playoffs. What fun is that? Or that the Red Sox would finish ahead of Toronto. That being said, you guys can give me grief over it, that's part of the reason why I did it. It's all good-natured bantering anyways.

You know what's funny...he wasn't talking about taking pitches, etc. Just stepping out of the box, taking forever to throw a pitch...and I can't say I disagree with him. -

Except that defense is more important behind the plate than it is in left field. Vmart will cost you a ton of runs behind the plate...and for that reason, I pray you sign him to a nice, long contract.
