  1. Loaisiga having surgery. Won’t be an option til August or September
  2. Yeah, this is insane. Montas, Rodon, Severino from the rotation Trivino, Effross, Loaisiga from the pen Judge, Stanton, Bader, Donaldson from the lineup. This is a AAA team right now, and a bad one. If it wasn’t for Cy Cole, we’d be well under .500
  3. With how injured this team is, it’s easy to turn them off.
  4. Duran is having a Franchy start. Hell fade
  5. The sox are having their little dance in the sunshine right now. They'll fade. Their roster doesn't have enough talent. The Yanks may end up fading as well if they don't get healthy. Trivino sounds like he's out for the year. Rodon keeps adding injuries. Severino has another week before a rehab assignment and realistically isn't an option til mid to late May. Cortes is 3-1. Yanks won his ND start. Cole is 4-0 and Yanks won his ND start. They're 9-1 when Cole or Cortes stats. They're 4-10 when the others start. That's a combo of terrible pitching and awful hitting, but this team was meant to be carried by the starters and they're onto starters #6, 7, and 8 right now. Bader is about to begin a rehab assignment. He is an upgrade over Flash in the pan Franchy and the almost completely given up Hicks. Stanton is out for another month and really cannot be counted on. Volpe is heating up. Cabrera is not. Trevino proving he wasn't what he was last first half. The offense is almost entirely on Judge, Rizzo, Torres and Lemahieu. I said from the beginning that the offense was not enough. We needed another bat and Cash decided to sink big money into an injured arm over another bat. If they don't find some magic, they'll be buried too
  6. You are not wrong
  7. This team can’t hit
  8. Volpe with the big 2 run dinger. Lemahieu with the walkoff. Cole looks like a CY. Just need one of Sevy/Rodon to get healthy so we can punt Schmidt out of the rotation and some of the offense to come back and we will be golden
  9. This is what you get with Stanton. We bought high on him. Too bad too Volpe is heating up. Judge still bombing. Rizzo starting out hot. Rest of the lineup looks like hot garbage right now. We have faced two bums on the Angels and barely whimpered.
  10. The Angels are a bad team. You can survive mistakes against them. Sox have faced Detroit, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Anaheim. You got a 4 game whooping with the Rays. But you got a soft start and are 8-8. After this game, the only "reprieve" you have prior to seeing the Angels again on May 22 is the Orioles next week. Sox mettle will be tested
  11. Pedro struggled early on too. But having anyone be compared to Pedro is a fools errand. Pedro was one of the best pitchers of all time
  12. The defense hasnt made an error, but they don't look good
  13. Bello has insane stuff but command is an issue. He found it late last year. He is coming off an injury. This is not a surprising development
  14. Bloom is operating under the premise that he’s got the job forever. He wants to cut the team down to its core and rebuild it. This is a strategy that can work when you run a team that has no fans. Won’t work in Boston
  15. That Brito start was a dud. Every pitch was belt high. Those days happen. Will be intriguing to see how he responds.
  16. When you’ve got the 2 seed in the NBA and a record setting hockey team, you gotta be good to draw. The Sox suck. The ratings and attendance have already plummeted. The Sox are at risk of becoming apathetic
  17. Posted this in the game thread, but more appropriate here. I have been a Bloom admirer through his first two seasons. Last year was an absolute nuke of a year and this year is looking worse. It is time for a change at the top Bloom was brought in to rebuild a dead farm system. Look at the big prospects. Rafaela, Mata, Bello, Casas. Brought in by Dombrowski. Bloom brought in Bleis and lucked into Mayer. He’s mostly whiffed thereafter. He watched Bogey, Eovaldi, and JD walk when he should have gotten a trade haul. The Betts deal didn’t work out. He finds a diamond in the rough in Renfroe and deals him off for JBJ who fails. I’m sorry, but the Sox have an ok farm thanks to DD and an awful team. Bloom needs to go

  19. JH never has an issue shaking things up. Steinny is allergic to it
  20. I have a feeling Bloom is going to be fired midway through the year
  21. I just tuned in. Seriously, this sox team might lose 100 games. They're hot garbage
  22. Sale looks about as bad as he ever has. Poor location, stuff isn’t sharp. I’m wondering if his spin rate is down on his FB cause they’re not missing it.
