  1. The thing I love about this Yankee team is that their problems are easily replaceable. We need a corner OFer. There are plenty of guys who are a fit for that. And that’s about it. Cash always finds a trash bin reliever who turns out nails, so I’ll bet he finds that too. But it isn’t like year’s past where our holes were C, CF, SS
  2. Craziest thing is the Sox went 19-4 yet gained only one game on the yanks! Yanks are 18-5 in last 23
  3. Yanks rally again. Pen was perfect again. Crazy that we got Trevino for Abreu and now Abreu is back with NY and is dealing.
  4. I’d take anyone over Gallo
  5. I always know when you’re gonna show up
  6. Got no hit. Will probably win tomorrow and split the series. Astros are the true class of the AL outside of NY. Sox trying to make it a three team race
  7. I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut
  8. And Judge walks it off. This is a team of destiny
  9. Yanks fans knew this 13 game run would be important. TB, TOR, TB, HOU. Yanks now 7-2 to start this stretch, now head home to face the Astros for 4. Should be fun
  10. Lol, Cortes’ “rough patch” is a 3.86ERA this month. I similarly LOL at people who think the league is catching up with Holmes after he blew a save on an infield hit. JMont showed something yesterday. He did not have his best stuff, fell behind early, and was told by Boone that he needed length regardless of the outcome. He battled through 6, handed the ball to our lights out pen and the offense went to work. 51-18. Pretty awesome
  11. Canada won't let him play if he is not vaxxed. He and Crawford are the only ones it seems
  12. That is definitely a possibility
  13. Looks like you've designated a closer finally. Houck belongs there
  14. We have been the Sox best friend this season. Yes, we beat them 2 of 3 to start the year, but we’ve won 4 straight vs the Rays and 2 of 3 from the Jays. The Sox have been jumped by the Guardians and now the Rays are the first team out with the Sox in the 3rd WC spot. After the next two games, it’s up to the Sox. Grueling 6 weeks for the Sox starts Friday
  15. Cole was dominant. Holmes was human although an infield hit after a ground ball double isnt exactly getting shellacked. But the O comes through and drives home two. Need to close this out
  16. Barring devastating injury, this Yanks squad isn’t going .500 the rest of the way. Yes, the division is difficult, but the rest of the AL is soft as puppy poo. Yanks pen was human for once. We got great offense. We got reasonably good starting pitching. And after we lost the lead, Rizzo homered and the Yanks had the tying and go ahead runs on the bases when the final out was made. The difference this year is they don’t quit. There’s been a single game (Cortes vs Twins) that they’ve been out of it from the beginning. That’s it. Here’s the craziest thing about the Yanks. They’ve got 5 starters that are playoff caliber starters. They’ve got a bridge that runs 3 deep and a closer that nobody can hit. When the POs roll around, they’re gonna be a tough out
  17. You’re right. I know better.
  18. Ho hum, just beating the bag out of the Jays again
  19. The pace is absurd. Let’s be honest, if the Yanks do keep this insane pace, they’ll clinch top overall seed in early September and will pull off the gas
  20. Yanks have their offensive slumps. Pitching and defense don’t slump my friend, and ours is the best combo in the majors
  21. Boone sat Stanton and Lemahieu and we still dominated
  22. Beating the bag out of Toronto tonight.
