  1. Gio Gonzalez has some sick stuff. His control is always the issue
  2. they were talking about his knee a few days ago
  3. Well, it sounds like Pedey is hurt
  4. Tex got HBP and left the game today
  5. Pedroia down to .254? Wow, he's scuffling.
  6. The pain is on the other side but it is general pain? Generalized means pain all over. If he's got pain in his abdomen again, then they might need to shut him down. Like I said before, this tear doesnt heal well on its own and the likelihood is, Cameron is gonna need some surgery. Recovery time is 6-8 weeks, which puts him coming back in August. Might be better to just bite the bullet and get some healthy time out of him rather than having him rest for a week every month and be less than 100%.
  7. I wouldnt. It's stupid. Napoli is a good player with a good bat and no position. The sox have a few of those types
  8. The Blue Jays just refuse to go down without a fight. They are a good offensive club
  9. No, my dick's bigger
  10. Dipre, I dont think Napoli is gonna fall of the map miraculously because he is gonna get more PT. I think his bat is real. But his worth falls greatly if you consider him a 1b or a DH, which is really what he is. I bet he could hit 25-30 homers, 100+RBI and OPS .850 as a regular, and we'll get a chance to see that this season with Morales out and Napoli playing 1b full time. I just think that both injury and defensive suckitude have cut into his playing time. And Dojji, you are vastly underestimating Napoli's defense. He's a f***ing butcher at catcher. You have Martinez at catcher and you have Varitek as a backup. The last thing you need is another defensive butcher with some pop behind the dish. If the sox really wanted to change things up, they'd get a good defensive catcher who isnt totally lost at the dish, like a Bobby Wilson type.
  11. He is interesting. The thought in the yankee org is that he is getting by on pitchability and movement, something that easily gets past inexperienced hitters. They are afraid to move him too soon and see more advanced sluggers who could work past his pitching style. I think we should move him up and let the chips fall where they may. He's been excellent for 2 yrs, give the guy a chance. And if he falters, then we move on.
  12. THAAAAAAAAAA YANKEES WIN! 3 out of 4. 5 of 7, we are hot again, just in time for the O's. Just looked at the whole schedule as well. Looks like a joke through August. September looks f***ing brutal
  13. it would have been nice, but we need both Park and Joba to get back on track. We have the O's next, there should be some low pressure innings available for Chamberlain over the next few days
  14. hope he doesnt miss much time. We need him tomorrow with Blastquez on the hill
  15. He's getting promoted because he is the worst GM ever. Yeah, your logic is f***ing AWESOME. Just accept the fact that your team wil always be a small market club and will never be able to have sustained success. They will always require a rapid fall with any rise. It is the nature of the beast

  17. Suns, Shapiro is the worst GM in baseball? You're a f***ing retard, seriously, there I said it. Shapiro has to play with the hand he is dealt. Cleveland is a s*** city and a s*** market. They cannot compete with NY or Boston or LA when it comes to revenue, profit, etc. So, they need to win like the Rays do. With young talent and a smattering of moderately priced veterans. It also means blowing it up when you have the right deals on the table. The problem with the Guardians were injuries. VMart being hurt, Sizemore being hurt, Hafner losing it all absolutely crushed this team. In 2007, they were the best team in baseball until they fell apart. THey couldnt afford to keep the team together, so he got talent for his all stars. Laporta is gonna be a star IMO. He got some serious talent for Lee (Donald will be your SS for a long time and Marson looks like a hell of a defensive catcher). What do you expect? My guess is that Hafner goes soon if he continues to hit and Sizemore will go once he proves he is healthy. Hell, Carmona should be dealt off too. My prediction, with your "worst GM ever" is that you'll be a playoff team in 2013.
  18. Kelly is finally hitting a wall. All good pitchers need to face a wall at sometimes, and most managers would rather it happen in the minors. Hughes hit his in the bigs. Joba is hitting his now. Might be good for him to have that over with when he comes up
  19. Quite excited about the next few series. 3 home vs the formidable Orioles at home. Then we get 3 games at Toronto and their ridiculously strong pitching. Then we go to Baltimore for 3 to face their deadly rotation again. Then we get to face Houston at home for 3. We should take 9 or 10 of the next 12 games
  20. ARod steps on the throat. Cano follows with another. Seriously, suns, can you tell your shitass team to not allow back to back homers. The last thing I want to hear is Sterling say "back to back, and a belly to belly."
