    Holy crap, CC is rolling. And the Mariners really just couldn't be worse.

    Jacko is right about Miller. He had some okay outings against s***** teams, but overall he's been bad. His glaring control problem is not fixed. Until Buchholz comes back or they acquire a starter, though, he's probably staying in the rotation. Funny thing is, he could be 5-1 after tonight.

    Kyle Davies is absolutely terrible. Very possibly the worst starter in baseball right now. Gotta be a win.

    Not a big Francoeur fan, but that may be irrational. Also he has never been a part of the Sox organization. I don't see the Sox making a big move. Beltran would be nice but it's not a necessary move, and while a SP would be excellent, those are very tough to find.

    Pineda is pretty filthy, and the Sox haven't seen him before. Need to capitalize on their chances today, which they haven't really been doing well in the first two games of the series.

    Ah, I was wondering why the GT was so short. Reverse lock strikes again. Lackey was really good after the 1st inning, so that's always encouraging. Sox had Felix on the ropes for the whole night, and finally broke through in the 7th. Too many guys LOB before that, though.

    Jered Weaver is clearly the front-runner at this point, IMO. He's on pace for 21 wins and has a 1.81 ERA, so he'll probably get it too.
