  1. What an absolutely brutal AB for Tek.
  2. Awesome pitch to get Chavez. Beckett is at 101 through 6 but he's had a rough last two innings. Bring him back?
  3. Big spot here for Beckett. Gotta get Pornstar Chavez. He's got another inning in him.
  4. They are. And hopefully they play at all tonight. Forecast calls for a lot of rain.
  5. I think Aviles played because he was 5 for 10 against CC. Not really a valid reason, but that's probably the reason anyway.
  6. I'll take 6 IP and 3 ER from Lackey against NY any time.
  7. Great escape job by Lackey. Pile it on.
  8. Wow the Yankees are not wasting any time. Settle down, Lackey.
  9. Oh come on, Lackey. Don't do this.
  10. Correct. Ortiz has 21 and Ellsbury has 19. But the point remains the same. Ellsbury has been absurdly awesome this year. And as of now he is on pace for 100 RBI. Meaningless, yes, but for a leadoff hitter that's nuts.
  11. Ahhhhh Jacoby! Holy crap. How do the Sox hit CC so well?
  12. Day-after-birthday mojo for Crawford.
  13. Nice, Aviles. Bring this run in.
  14. f***, Eric Chavez you retired like 3 years ago.
  15. I'll take that every single time. Now hold onto the lead.
  16. Oh lordy, this could get ugly. Lackey already has thrown over 20 pitches this inning.
  17. I enjoyed that inning. 3-4-5 up for the Yanks in the 4th. Keep it up, Lackey.
  18. Hey wow, nice inning for Lackey.
  19. Also, Carl Crawford birthday mojo!
  20. Biggest series of the year so far. Sox and Yanks are tied for the East, and someone will leave Boston with a lead. Yes, both teams will make the playoffs, but the difference between (as it stands now) hosting Detroit/Cleveland, and playing Texas/LAoA on the road, is pretty big. So let's re-claim the lead. Tonight: Jon Lester (11-4, 3.17) vs. Bartolo Colon (8-6, 3.30) Win.
  21. Merged this thread with yesterday's GT, so as not to lose the posts. RSFFL, you had me too. Props.
