arod is having the best season ive ever seen a yankee have funny how you dont hear the ""arod isnt a true yankee"" verse anymore f***ing cock has been unreal, unreal this year and hes done it many times under extreme pressure the loss of sheffield has been quietly subdued by this monster season and ny is fighting baltimore for 4th without him boras has ny bent over barrel with this guy he's about to turn cashman into his personal hand puppet

ohio state isnt getting any respect this season being at #11 and this was a non conference loss as pathetic as it was so outside the obvious ""dont pick them they suck"" its not such an outrageous prediction im leaning toward wisconsin they were playing some good football and may have been a title contender last year if given the shot

yeah but tiant was also a horse,a big assed guy who was still throwing he threw 165 pitches in game 4 of the 75 world series when he was probably well into his 40s consider#s of innings 1973 272 ip 1974 311 ip 1975 269 ip 1976 279 ip they say he was 5.'11 190 and born in 1940 i'd say he was 5'9 225 and born in 1934 plus he is the only man on earth who could keep a cigar lit in the shower luis tiant what would you pay today to see him pitch like he did then?? spinning like a f***ing top,the mustache, the glare, the fat cheeks, that f***ing curve ball that started at 2 feet above your head then dropped on the outside corner like a log wedge christ i loved that guy anyways petey hasnt come close to those #s ever and its been 10 years since he went over 230ip when petey hits 100 pitches hes done, patient teams wait him out i wouldnt want to have to beat him but he isnt the best pitcher in baseball by a long shot anymore

so in the spirit of piling on i give you the oldie but goodie big sunglassed wearing texan the late great roy orbison this one goes out to my goombah mj Your baby doesn't love you any more Golden days before they end Whisper secrets to the wind Your baby won't be near you any more Tender nights before they fly Send falling stars that seem to cry Your baby doesn't want you any more It's over It breaks your heart in two, To know she's been untrue But oh what will you do? Then she said to you There's someone new We're through We're through It's over It's over It's over All the rainbows in the sky Start to even say goodbye You won't be seeing rainbows any more Setting suns before they fall, Echo to you that's all that's all But you'll see lonely sunset after all It's over It's over It's over It's over EVERYBODY NOW ITS OVER ITS OVER ITS OOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEER

brian cashman stood pat on 7/31 because his biggest move was giving raja more money than any other pro baseball player we almost lost suzy waldman that day in the bronx when raja enthralled the 55k in attendance and the millions watching on YES be announcing his return. everyone was motivated the yankees responded by losing 7 games in the standings in the next 3 weeks raja is now 6-6 with 1 big win against boston under his belt along with some real suck ass performances it would be tragic if his career were to end like this

i think its bigger than chaminade if only because its michigan football if chaminade beat say a duke team then maybe plus back then they didnt use a shot clock so the tempo can be controlled if you had a set of guards who could handle the ball. lets face it virginia hoop had 3 great years with ralphie boy sampson and disappeared from the elite michigan is a top 5 team every single year in september app state didnt get lucky, they slapped michigan in the mouth 160 yards rushing?? 34 points in the big house?? 2 blocked kicks in the last 3 minutes?? a 50 yard completion in the last 40 seconds to set up the game winner?? all very improbable and unthinkable occurances this is a once in a lifetime happenin that we may never see again
-
as much as i loved petey he could no longer beat the teams in the al east ny owned him and he knew it even baltimore toronto and to an extent tampa bay were hitting him in the end teams that didnt see him such as the west coast clubs,,couldnt touch him but if he cant beat ny he isnt worth 15M per of he gets stronger he will be a force to reckon with but if he cant break 90 they'll catch him even in the nl

news flash for you who feel personally violated and betrayed its time to grow up there isnt now nor has there ever been testing on this specific product how many others are out there on his own team?? hmmmmn the owners and brass of the nfl are completely full of s*** and have been for an eternity im not defending rodney harrison but i dont give a s*** either the man is 34 years old,he has maybe 10-12 more years of walking erect before the combination of weight training, practice and the violence of his position renders him a cripple...all he wants to do is get on the field and he doesnt care what happens to his health so long as he gets another shot at the big game is this so bad?? should we call in congress for their input?? i suggest all of the esteemed members who feel violated and betrayed by mr harrisons actions boycott the nfl because i guarantee you that there are men on both sides of the ball in every game being watched that are dirty. ever lift up a piece of damp wood near the river and see all the strange and scary creatures that are uncovered?? this is what the nfl doesnt want you guys to see to each their own but i could give a s*** less as long as our new strong safety can play the run and cover a tight end deep

ha jimma i dont play overs in the sec games too much talent and speed on defense and coaches play it too close to the vest. miss state couldnt score 20 on an empty field
-
turn out the lites the partys over they say that all good things must end too much distance to cover in too short of time with a pitching staff whos old guys are dying and whos young guys have arrived too late But the crazy crazy party Never seen so many people Laughing dancing Look at you you're having fun But look at me I'm almost cryin That don't keep her love from dyin Misery cause for me the party's over Turn out the lights...

hows rajas trick (1)groin (2)shoulder (3)hammy the entire f***ing planet bet seattle yesterday despite their 8 game losing streak because clemens has become this predictable. it would be horrible if he ended his career on this note

i dont miss the double sessions the lbax coach screaming PUKE THRU YOUR MASK OR SWALLOW getting trapped by a 270lb tackle on the blind fullback blasts with no help from the dtackle or nose guard i dont miss the practices as much as the guys i practiced with i do miss the games badly walking out of the house on friday so intense you push your grandmother out of the way and can only mutter""i hate those **********s"" all day in school till you get a headache ahh the memories getting rocks thrown at us by the opposing teams parents who tried to storm the bus in clinton getting attacked by the garron brothers over at bowditch field in framingham, then having the framingham cops storm the bus because a kid got hit in the face with a helmet. watching darren flutie leave the field with oxygen with a giant piss stain in the front of his pants after drubbing the superbowl champs in natick 7-7 preseason tie against the greg mcmurtry sherrod rainge led brockton boxers who were #1 in the nation that year for a while till leominster handed them their ass the 1st superbowl win beating that same leominster team by 4tds i miss it more this time of the year than any tonight lsu and miss state over in starkville miss state sucks but they will be more people in that stadium than in any other place in the state of mississippi a venue for football that is sorely lacking in this part of the nation for whatever reason bc opens saturday against wake and i celebrate my 5th year of bc seasons i cant wait

see the future without manny ?? it aint pretty we lose a lot of swagger when this guy is out. no hit by that gutless ass clown for 5 f***ing innings?? we owned his ass religiously when he was still effective but without manny we do nada francona looked rough and pissed last night for the 1st time ive ever seen. good 6 up and the division is still ours whether we win today or not you ny fans spin it any way you like but math is on my side. theres just too much ground to make up here in a month unless we lose a couple of pitchers, papi and we end up with 6 double headers because of the weather. -

as damon goes as go the yankees they have an incredible record when he scores dice gave up 6 hits but he still had that combustible inning in place in the 1st that he wiggled out of cheap the battery needs to address his control issues before the bases are loaded -
mussina will be on the mound against tampa in his next turn in the rotation where have you gone kei agawa jarret wright looks good compared to mussina carl pavano has been much more effective while on the dl this is f***ing great i always liked mussina in baltimore and if they had another good arm and a better pen they wouldve won a ring in 96-97 i feel hey dont cry for him hes got 9 figures in his bank account

jesus christ is this everyone signed from A ball thru Pawtucket? -
in defense of Gom all the ballwashing about phil hughes being the savior may have led him to actually believe the hype. the ny media is f***ing brutal in assessing their talent how dare anyone lay their season at the feet of a 20 year old kid while they hand out 15M checks to mussina 28M to raja 10M to pavano and god knows how much they paid that stiff igawa good afternoon mr cashman place of last employment please? the yanks have started off flat every year this century but this year our pitching depth was too much for them to overcome and their response in may was signing clemens and then standing pat at the all star break cashman failed miserably this season and should be the fall guy in october but the yanks future isnt all that bad with chamberlain hughes perhaps karstens as well how long will mussina stink the bronx up? will they try and offer clemens 30M along with arod?? id like to think so all in all it was a banner f***ing weekend and i had the pleasure of discussing this season with sox fans in conn ri nh me and of course mass and most of us are in agreement that this is the best talent we've ever had waltzing into september.

anyone remember old dandy don meredith and his monday nite football song he sang during blowouts?? turn out the lights ths partys over they say that all good things must end another week in chicago and jd drew would have respectable #s what an asswhuppin 7.5 up and its looking pretty positive that nys stranglhold on the al east is over -
with dice becks and wake on the books and buck lester and other assorted arms in the minors who already have had success at the big boy level, our staff is as solid as its ever been.

youk once again has struggled to maintain his 1st half performance and everyone here has written this teams mvp, mike lowell, off. lowell was at .315 with 22-80? i think not bad....not bad at all and he does play a goldglove level 3rd base despite his horrid april and may start with the glove.. the pitching assessments are a sign of how deep our minor leagues have been made we have a ton of options as far as pitchers go and that is so huge in developing guys properly, this makes us competetive without pissing away millions on the matt clements of the world, this is a big advantage over the rest of the league... why did we get this carter guy so cheap and a better question is why wasnt he playing in arizona with those guady #s he put up in the minors? lots of minor leaguers put up huge#s but dont have the mlb swing to succeed roberto pettagine comes to mind immedietly i havent seen the guy play at all but the fact that hes playing behind tony clarke indicates theres more to this picture than meets the eye im too entwined with this summer 1 week left in august and we have the best record in baseball with everyone nearly 100% healthy next summer is a lifetime away unless you're getting paid to build next years team
-
did they just get swept by the pirates?? this team would drive me crazy 1 day they look as balanced as anyone out there and then voila, they lose 8 in a row no excuse getting dusted by the pirates but their future looks good
-
algonquin won the d-1 championship in baseball last year didnt they? i know they were close again this year y'all got a stud pitcher who beat milford last year over at tivnan field in worcester f***ing kid thru 180 pitches and went 9 and it was about 110 in the shade that day forgot his name but i think he graduated this year soccer?? do you have a lot of the portugese and brazilian kids from marlboro and hudson??
