  1. wild card teams make the big show every year it seems st louis won 83 games last year and are champs the yanks maybe f***ed tonite i layed money on them as theyre a small underdog i am of the mindset toronto packed it in and its a scenario that says its not who you play as much as it is when you play them see the mariners for an example the benefit of betting ny is if they lose i enjoy it and if they win at least i get a couple bucks the yanks are on fire and are a dog very rarely this weekend the sox will be favored in the 3 game but they wont be big
  2. lowells done it all year and performed way above expectations pedroia is a great surprise but not the mvp paps deserves some consideration out of the pen but beckett really dazzled and more important became a pitcher rather than a thrower this year his consistancy gets him the mvp because if he was a 5.00 era guy we would be sucking hind tit again
  3. hes been on a tear this week 5-4 win papi gets all 5rbi and the right fielder looked like brittany spears trying to dance shitfaced. thats an out most of the time
  4. tek should shut the f*** up before people start booing him he left an entire division of baserunners on last night without hitting the ball out of the infield as far as passion goes w ith jd drew and tek when tek bitch slapped arod it showed his emotion and commitment to his pitchers and teamates. jd drew seems like hes on methadone 24/7
  5. rickey eh?? my favorite ball player ever. what about luis gonzalez
  6. those #s work for me
  7. they cheated and got bagged their brand of cheating makes steroid usage seem harmless im competetive comparisons. f***ing disgraceful is what it is 1 way to stop it for sure is to make them forfeit sure its extreme but it will make them stop this nonsense cheating against the jets is like cheating on your 4 year old kid in candy land i think bb is the best coach in nfl history but he is also a victim of his own success and ambition.
  8. what did you expect?? just because cashman pays him 28,000,000.00 doesnt make him immortal and you real yankee fans know you dont want this guy to pitch next month he'll get ko'd in the 2nd inning in anaheim and start grabbing his elbow or his shoulder or his vagina or his hammy and waddle off into the good night as tim mccarver comments on his valor and compares him to an ancient warrior. f*** clemens
  9. its dangerous sometimes you get a bit of that pine tarr on your glove and if tarr meet pubic area look out ever put liniment on your groin?? ben gay icy hot any of that s***?? i had some icy hot on my groin that ended up on my balls by accident that wakes you up quickly
  10. i get amused when canadiens discuss football its nearly as amusing as when they discuss national pride. walk down memory lane with a guy who saw the pats play in harvard stadium for a moment im a season ticket holder walking out of the old stadium the week after 9-11-01 very emotional day with andruzzi's brothers and with machine guns everywhere. my dad is limping along with me,there was 6 minutes left, the 0-1 pats were down 10-3 against the lowly jets and we and 20,000 other people knew WE FUKIN KNEW that bledsoe couldnt get it done so we leave the building as we had so many times before as losers with no hope 0-2 against the bengals and the jets and it looked like a bad year brewin bledsoe ends up nearly bleeding out on the sidelines but before the game ended the fans had a shot of victory when brady got a couple of 1st downs and they tried the hail mary... they failed but a star was born the next week we got to indianappolis as 10 pt underdogs against all world peyton manning the pats beat the f***ing s*** out of them, him and their entire team. bryan cox decapitated pathon and the season restarted that very moment bledsoe?? stop it,just stop it now. he came in against pitt and threw a td pass then went back to the bench where he belonged sb37 1:40 to play and the rams tie the game they kick to the patriots im screaming play for ot my brother is screaming for ot john madden is screaming for ot belichek turns the ball over to tom brady and jermaine wiggins and fred f***ing coleman?? and vinitieri finishes the job. denver beat us in 05 fair and square if you ask me brady was horrible and the broncos were better that day. last year i feel the front office beat us brady was 1 1st down away from going to the superbowl reche caldwell dropped 2 balls that my 4 year old neice catches that couldve been tds any of which ends indies season caldwell dropped the ball, the pats were sucking wind and the game was over. to put last years loss on brady is beyond f***ing stupid in fact i think we should have a seperate column for canadien posters so we americans dont have to stagger thru the nonsense and the pure ******** that is falling from santas village really what does canada do for football outside of giving a few jobs to felons who couldnt make it here? isnt curling the national sport of canada??
  11. bonemeal and dolomite breakfast supplements he's owned our asses from day 1 i dont know why we cant wait him out like every other team does
  12. for the record there is good news schill has had a decent run,his last 6 efforts have produced an under 3 era with quality efforts in his last 3 straight starts this is crucial considering dice and wake had horrid efforts last time out give me a healthy schill a healthy becks and our bullpen and i say we're ok for the run toss an effective wake into the mix and we're on our way
  13. with last nites lineup stealing and bunting were the only options we had will youk finish in the 270s?? he reallys seems confused
  14. By the way, how does Brady even figure into this conversation? I understand you guys are Patriots fans but the guy certainly isn't in the top 5 in League history, so can we just leave him out of this conversation now why would you say this when in the same breath you take montana or the 3x loser elway?? brady won more titles than hes lost post season games. montana won 4 brady will have 4 by february montana had jerry rice brady had troy brown elway had terrell davis when he won montana had roger craig brady won with........antoine smith hes still in his 20s based on what ive seen last week hes a long way from being finished. we can revisit this conversation in 10 years as brady starts putting up the meaningless regular season #s that seem so coveted here its been my experiece that when a qb throws for 400 yrds he usually loses
  15. i was thinking about this last night and it occured to me that the game today is so much different than in years past. you rarely see 2 back sets you frequently see spread offenses the rules have been changed to pump offense into the game and to protect the wide outs and qbs. jaworski had brady palmer and peyton in the top 3,no specific order the guy they often refer to as the best was johnny unitas but i saw him at the very very end of his career, perhaps an elder statesmen can chime in with some johnny u info. i liked montana best ever steve young doesnt have the long term #s but he had some incredible games kenny stabler was never stopped in the last minute but again, the #s arent close dan marino had the best #s ever without a running game a defense or wideouts after duper and clayton,2 men who failed outside of miami, who did they give him?? oj mcduffie?? who were his backs?? tony nathan and jim jensen?? he had a good line but was never given the tools i feel which brings us to brady after the fred colemans and the reche caldwells have left the room we now have a decent corp of wideouts and what appears to be a deep threat in moss brady will now put some #s up that rival mannings over the year
  16. historically speaking in big games the pats defense outscores mannings offense kilo did you just start watching these games last year?? he personally made assante samuel 8M last year and he made ty law a lot more over the years. t martin isnt as good as manning,no way ive seen the #s and i watched the games i agree manning is a better qb as t martin didnt make the nfl he just won a national championship when manning never even won his conference championship manning was 0-4 against florida? martin 1-0. as far as brett favre goes what has he done this century that justifies the ballwashing outside of this ""old blood and guts"" ******** that i consider about as legit as little george bush's military genious. he leads the world in int's and when given enuff rope by his head coach he will hang his team with it in each instance,we've all witnessed this michael vick is 1-0 against brett favre in the playoffs... my god was there a worse team than the 2006 chicago bears to play in a superbowl game? a worse qb than rex grossman?? outside david woodley with the 82 dolphins and perhaps the 77 broncos using norris weese while craig morton cried himself into retirement but none that really come to mind. i dont think there was a worse qb to play in the superbowl than rex grossman joe kapp maybe?? as i think about the stiffs ive seen play in the superbowl i cant think of anyone worse than grossman. im not bitter about the 97 superbowl i had the packers and the line locally fell to 12.5 so i made a few bucks im bitter about the 98 superbowl when in the battle of choke artists between he and elway, elway got him while he was a 9 pt underdog think joe montana ever lost a game as a 9 pt favorite?? how about troy aikman?? no those guys won manning and favre on the other hand, while both have rings, both have some egg on their face which in my opinion keeps them out of the all time great discussions now if manning comes back and wins this year or next then i would say he has matured into one of the greats tom brady has 2 post season losses gentlemen he has more superbowl wins than post season losses before we dismiss him i suggest you find someone somewhere who can match that or has the potential to match those #s. you give him time like we did this sunday and the pats may not lose this year. i have a lot more respect for petyon manning this year than in years past because of the huge comeback last winter against us but im not of the mindset that hes the best qb ever, not now,not yet... now our boy on the other hand??
  17. how can you treat a guy who has pitched at the pro level for over 5 years as a rookie if his velocity was off you could take notice but it hasnt fallen at all perhaps hes mentally exhausted?? its been a whirlwind 8 months for this guy and there isnt a soul in sports who had more pressure on him this summer from the boston fans perspective and what the japanese fans expected of him as well remedy?? send him over to kneeland street for a blow job and a pitcher of sake and maybe let him miss a start. i suspect hes just mentally cooked at this point
  18. brett favre?? ya if desmond howard doesnt return 2 kickoffs for touchdowns as the fat tuna was writing his acceptance speach to take over the jets instead of preparing for the superbowl then brett favre would be up there with craig morton as a clutch performer f*** brett favre he and his streak of consecutive games is a joke last year against the pats as he was getting his dick pounded into the dirt he left with what looked like a broken neck in the 2nd quarter his replacement came in and was promptly knocked out for the season with a broken foot favres injury miraculously healed for the next weeks game and his streak stayed intact f*** brett favre and peyton manning?? are you serious?? 4 year starter at tennessee and never won a big game the year he left tennesee t martin leads the vols to the national championship coincidence?? sure the colts had a nice team last year led by bob sanders and once again a strong offense led by manning with 2 great wideouts a decent running game and a good tight end manning didnt get dirty all year. anyways they were 1 reche caldwell drop away from getting beat at home again in the playoffs 1 pats 1st down away from failure too bad caldwell dropped 2 balls or we would be discussing ""is peyton manning the biggest choke in history"" you put your money on manning i'll take tom brady we wont be featuring reche caldwell this year the field is a bit more balanced
  19. i dunno i suspect all of them to a degree i was looking at hr#s and how they increased over the years and the biggest increase if i recall was between 92-93 seasons? that was 14 f***ing years ago ken caminitti is dead so is beck and mark mcguire probably wishes he was guys are pitching effectively into the 40s and guys who get tommy john surgery throw harder when they return than before?? look at the power decline since random testing began fukin luis gonzalez, who weighs about the same as my lunch at the cafe sorrento, hit 58hrs 6years ago, nomar hit 30 and .372,now he wont hit 30 for the rest of his career. nixon had 28 in 03,they began testing and he missed most of 04 because he hurt himself driving to ft meyers?? ya right petey lost 10mph off his fastball between 99-05 but grew 3 hat sizes in the process can anyone explain this?? johnny damon is throwing back evolution 2million years with his crow magnum look his forehead is protruding 3 inches father than it did when he was a rookie
  20. did he use the entire 12mo supply last month?? the boy is on fire power wise
  21. its like basketball only easier to score they had at 1 pt last nite 13 straight scoring drives and it be more than that now unreal but when the likes of mid tenn state are hanging 40?? then you may need to step back
  22. we couldnt get a sack of s*** of jd drew hes got juan pierre power#s with julio lugos batting average we own him forever and theres nothing we can do about it but watch he makes more than david ortiz he makes more than any pitcher on this staff if we dont win it all then theo will have to answer for this pile of s***
  23. its amazing that the yankees are in the hunt consider the dead weight of clemens pavano mussina igawa and say giambi those 5 salaries are bigger than 25 other teams payrolls sick isnt it
  24. drew is so f***ed up now he is going against his most basic instincts as a hitter you can sense hes off balance and you can sense it thru the television unreal bases loaded 1 out 2-2 pitch nearly hits the top of his foot and he Ks looking like a kansas city faggot in the process?? my god he looks lost i also am bewildered as to why tito had elsbury sacrifice the man is hitting .600 since he was called back dont make the kid bunt,i know if youre playing by the book you bunt but we threw that book away a long time ago let him continue to pound the ball for gods sake gagne wasnt available yesterday?? it wouldve been a nice spot to redeem himself bad loss,no need for it at all
