the night the sox beat cleveland 23-? in the 99 playoff series we were sitting in the right field bleachers when a yankee fan staggered up the stairs babbling some nonsensical ******** the guy behind me threw a plastic bottle of coke at him and missed by 10 feet and hit a woman in the head,the womans boyfriend stood up just in time to catch the yankee fan as he fell backwards after getting hit with a beer...security came and dragged the bleeding yankee fan down the stairs with his face hitting each concrete step by the time he got to the tunnel he was bleeding from every orifice in his face,including a couple of new ones that were gouged out by the woman who got her shots in as well. youre just asking for trouble when you flaunt this s*** in front of 30-40-50,000 other fans

seattle gave the wild card a run when they werent supposed to be there at all they had a good run after the break and have developed a decent bullpen their starters have been a disappointment but they hung in there sexon and beltre bounced back after pathetic years and ichiro continues to amaze if they had more consistancy from their starters they may have edged out ny and detroit for the wild card -
they never boo loudly before the at bat when he taps into a 4-6-3 dp they may boo but that dont effect his at bat he hasnt heard it......yet

it would be difficult to win with jason campbell behind center their defense is good but their offense is vanilla to say the least did mcnabb attempt a pass over 20 yards last nite?? 4 f***ing field goals at home isnt going to get it done

the thing about drew is 85% of boston didnt want him here and no other general manager made a play for him so we gave him a 5 year deal and a raise fans know he makes more than ortiz schilling and lowell they also know he makes more than paps youk coco lugo and pedroia......combined we didnt boo say darren lewis or damon buford because we knew their potential we will boo drew here in boston because he is a career underachiever who makes more than all of us will in our lifetimes in 1 summer and doesnt produce.

when you pay 500 for you and your family to watch a ballgame you have every right in the world to say whatever you want short of vulgarity if i were making 14M per season and played like drew i would agree with the crowd if i had 35,000 people booing me at work and my work was in right field why would i care?? ive watched all but a dozen innings this year the booing hasnt been that bad the press hasnt been that bad the press is worse on manny after he hits 40/120/.300 than it is on drew he should be booed he hasnt been driven off the cliff yet but if he sucks in the post season you'll hear it for real

2 innings of bad pitching isnt a cause to throw their accomplishments in the shitter christ it sucks but consider its .0499% of the schedule these guys havent forgotten how to play they may have forgotten what a lead looks like late in the game however

milford high schill back in the old midland league when nobody knew mass existed west of 495. we had it an easy league but our non league was brutal back then we played maynard clinton algonquin markboro westboro shrewsbury and hudson only marlboro was bigger than us non league was a different animal in 3 years we played bc high st johns of shrewsbury natick high with darren flutie framingham south with the 3 garron brothers leaominster fitchburg and franklin i had the pleasure of playing against a few d1 guys and a couple of nfl players

curfew kiddo do the captains or assistant coaches still call at 10 to make sure youre tucked in before game day?? my wife was working on a saturday nite at stop and shop and i popped in around 11 with the baby to buy some milk or oj or something the pats stayed at the milford radison the nite before home games theres lawyer milloy,all 5'10 185lbs of this assassin breaking curfew to buy a tube of hand creme,no s*** this guy looiked like erkel and hit like butkus youd never know

a forfeit would end this from us and any other team the fines,albeit brutal to us peons,is an hour of beer sales in foxboro kraft already paid the fines i bet this action doesnt diminish their play in my eyes but it gives people who hate bb and the pats and the krafts some ammo that they didnt have before
