  1. he went in the 2nd round if im not mistaken 15 years ago that injury wouldve made him a free agent progessive medicine in athletics continues to amaze me quite frankly if youre going to be a 1st rounder i dont know how you stay in school unless youre family is independly wealthy....how does a coach tell a kid majoring in phys ed to get his education and leave 8 figures on the table till next year with a straight face? if youre on the bubble and dont feel youre going on the 1st day then its different but if youre pretty much assured youre going in the top 50 you gotta go get paid
  2. warning football guy about to go on and on lets start with bill parcells, the genious the tuna the man who was on the phone with old man hess working out the details of his jets deal as his team prepped for the superbowl against green bay.... too bad the defense played very well, the special teams and the offense failed us but belicheks defense held all world brett favre to 2tds.......lets move on how many did parcells win without belichek?? head to head how to bb do against the tuna, cowher??dungee?? the pats won a superbowl as a 14 point dog after burying the steelers as a 7 point dog..... on the road the won 3-4 years this year will be 4 in 7 and who knows where we end up at the end of the decade gentlemen this is in the era of the hard salary cap and the above #s havent been bested by anyone bill walsh shula lombardi knoll landry and jjohnson included kilo cleveland was in the middle of moving their franchise and his team quit on him the fans quit and art modell gave a f*** less in 95. blaming that scenario on his is ******** but maybe youre too young to remember. if you were old enuff do you remember 94?? if you recall when that cleveland team played the parcells and bledsoe led patriots cleveland dismantled us in the playoffs and bledsoe threw 4 pix sox rules whos going to win the grey cup this year?? those montreal alouettes are a force eh.... see red can you give me a game where the pats were supposed to win in the playoffs and didnt?? i can give you a few that walsh shouldve won and didnt the day that montana had his back broken by jim burt they were 3pt favorites and got beat by 46 in giants stadium... gibbs beat him in the nfc championship game in 84,parcells then smoked him the following december.......they got beat by minnesota of all teams in 88..... these games were all games the 49ers were favored in as they had the best football team in the game thru the 80s...believe me ive been in the business of football for a very very long time and for me it isnt just bula bula,i have a vested interest in every team every game if you get my drift and bill belichek has cost me more money than the wife kids and irs combined... i dont pick em i just write down what you pick... anyways walsh is a great coach,an innovative genious if you will and a guy who changed football and the role of eveyone on offense...i like bb better... i liked gibbs better back in the day,he of the 1 back H back offense he won with 3 s***** qbs as opposed to the pats and 49ers who have the best in the league from the bowels of my mind i come up with 3 head to head matchups see how belicheks defenses did against walsh in walshes prime and correct me if im wrong please 87 ny 49-3 85 ny 17-3 84 ny 21-10 hows walsh and his 5.33 pts per game in the playoffs looking against bb now?? anyways i understand bb struggles against miami and denver but i think the pats will be ok
  3. the wild card winners have won just as much as anyone else that said i have hated kevin millar since he had the 2003 WILD CARD WINNERS t shirt on the wildcard is a nice thing and you should be proud to get there but to celebrate wildly is insane, you look like a f***ing jerkoff it reminds me of the indi colts teams that hang banners such as ""2003 afc playoff participant"" nice too many gaylord faukers out there
  4. youk has sucked since july lets not try to shine a sneaker this f***ing guy thinks he can bitch cry and make faces every day at the umpires as they ring him up watching belt high fastballs cruise on by.... memo to kevin youkillis youre not good enuff to behave this way last year he tailed way off this year too. christ there was a movement to make him an allstar with his 1st half production how bad is he banged up did the beef he put on over the last seasons wear down his body in the summer heat this year he is down in bbs runs and extra base hits his power#s have improved but not to the point where he would be considered a power hitter... his 2nd half collapse has a lot to do with our mediocrity maybe if he was more aggressive at the plate he would have better power#s because this man takes more called strike 3s than the little girls who piss themselves playing softball in 2nd grade...and then the whining and the crying and the outrage and the temerity of these guys to call him out.... kevin youkilis is pushing his maximum potential and i am not questioning his tuffness or commitment.... only his talent david ortiz once again has proved himself to be a personal juggernaut on offense and is the man i want to see up with the money on the table but this teams mvp is mike lowell my friends
  5. the spying issue has been buried by the nfl and the patriots forever its over the damage done the fines issued the draft picks taken and the payoff by kraft to the commisionars office is in the mail bb is the best coach in history and a man who would stab a child in the face for a win
  6. suspended eh?? with pay?? like the cop who was arrested with his cock in a 15 year old retarded girl? or without? if he baited he should be fired the umps arent very clean i chased 1 of them a little over 10 years ago for bad checks from december all the way to opening day,""i'll take care of it""the money order is in the mail""let me call you back with a credit card""etc....nothing so i called mlb headquarters and advised them of a very personal matter concerning one of there umps that may cause some embarrasment when the sheriff takes him out of wrigley field for writing bad paper....15 minutes later he paid me off with a visa this guy is still working,he is from connecticut,he was originally a national league umpire and his initials are E.R... turned out to be a pretty good guy
  7. when grown men are dressed in the full uniforms of a player i can only suspect he is a masturbation addicted loser who lives in his parents basement and works the counter at d'angelos. that isnt nearly as bad as the 70 year old men dressed up in nascar regalia, complete with fireproof asbestos jump suit and those wicked cool shoes you hope these people dont vote and pray to the Lord that they dont have children
  8. arent bob cole and greg lougannis an item now?
  9. this is how johnny damon and millar ended up on queer eye theyre taking this s*** to a new level of nonsense what next? a feel good session of how the pitchers feel about women?? a 30 minute give and take with daiske discussing the wonders of bukkake?? its just sad and lets hope the 1st president gets assassinated so this ends
  10. you being orange? was that temples last win?
  11. i got tix for thursday i may need to wear my combat pants and hockey helmet they win tommorow and thursday with another ny loss and i am there for the east crown last time i was at an event that clinched anything it was julius adams last game in 85 against cinci and the pats clinched the wildcard that day that was also the day they carried the goal posts down rte 1 killing at least 1 man in the process...the win against indi in the afc semis wasnt nearly as exciting as the game i refer to the pats were horrid for years and were 1-4 that year before they canned ron meyer and brought in ray berry and im pretty sure they only lost 1 more game during the season 3 road wins in the playoffs were incredible but all was forgotten due to the beating in new orleans by chicago you havent lived till you see 10,000 people walking down the highway after tearing down the goal posts....
  12. in all honesty ny has played tremendous baseball but had too big a hurdle to win the division wild card teams have as good a chance as any but i do like the home field ad that winning the division brings cleveland looks as if they want the home field as anaheim lost again in texas and the tribe is beating felix and the mariners who absolutley folded with that bitch of a schedule down the stretch as a sox fan id prefer anaheim as a sox fan who hates ny id prefer they go west in any case it wont be easy for anyone this year all 4 teams have a legit pop with the yanks getting the slight favorite spot due to their record after the break....sabathia and carmona loom for them and socia and his pussys are heading here i think
  13. kay is already apologizing to the ny fans and explaining how it doesnt really matter if they win the east ok mike i believe you but when the yanks open up in disneyland against their executioners i want to believe that it dont matter but i deal in reality
  14. i am impressed with ellsbury too but how many men hit 3000?? thats 200xs15...when ellsbury is in his 10th year and is still performing like this he will have 100m in the bank think that changes your game and attitude?? 3000 hits is legends s***,this kid dont even shave yet i dont see it happening based on common sense and experiece he may be great and mvp material but 3000 hits is a gigantic leap of faith
  15. buddy just calls cause he knew i had glavine hey they came all the way back and have the tying run on 2nd are you watching this?? ""why are you calling me now i thought you'd like to know after 81/3 innings i lived without this knowledge dont call me with this nonsens aww dude delgado whiffed ohh dude game over what a waste you guys have friends that just reek of bad luck or is it just me??
  16. mets down 10-3 going to the bottom of the 9th 10-9 1 out guy on 2nd with delgado up the payroll difference always looms larger in close games decided by the pen
  17. the yanks want to avoid extra innings at all costs this reminds me very much of the end of the celts run in the late 80s they had to deal with chicago philly detroit or a decent milwaukee team theyd have to go all 5 in the short series theyd have to beat detroit in those f***ing bloodbaths and when they finished in the east they had the track team in purple waiting for them after they won all 3 of their series without losing 2 games against denver or san antone or dallas, all inferior to the easts talent at the time they dont want any extra innings at this stage of the season
  18. this is where the payroll or lack there of is glaring
  19. depending on the circumstances the lefty starter generally is competetive against the sox s*** bags like ted lilly own our ass jamie moyer would crucify us when he threw strikes wells and petitte.even when they struggled, were always in the game against us due to the success and salary of mediocre lefties i nearly made my kid dislexic he'll bounce back by high school im told here come the yanks
  20. To be honest, Igawa would be more valuable simply because the Yankees only have one lefty who will be on the roster (Villone), and he wouldn't be considered a specialist i too am a lover of the lefty in fact,i can only think of 1 team in recent history who won it all without a lefty starter
  21. all these guys are pros most play till the bitter end and do it for personal pride despite the standings wouldnt tampa just love to stick it up nys ass 3xs this week??
  22. wow i personally would like to see a 13 inning affair with 37 runs scored
  23. despite mr crunchies gallant effort once again i watch the yankees in envy damon jetsey abreu arod and then the grand slam
  24. mike lowell playing like a man with a chip on his shoulder finally the 5 hole is coming into fold
  25. damon gets on and the yanks up 1-0 he,when hes playing as hes capable,is a gigantic piece of this teams offense lets hope he has painful bone spurs and crotch rot down the stretch
