You never know what you're getting at the qb position and its as much a crap shoot as anything when drafting these guys high..See Alex Smith,Andre Ware,David Klingler....then see Tom Brady and Cassell etc...one group went in the top 3, while our guys went 6th and 7th rounds. You just cant gamble when drafting so high, id always take the best player available at that slot rather than trying to fill a need or do what the Pats do,dump the high pix for lower pix and rely on scouting.

Pedros struggles in the al east began in 03 and by the end of 04 he was a mediocre pitcher in the al with an era around 4. his 1st year with the mets in 05 he had an era of just under 3 but since then he has been putrid. it would be like watching oj with the 49ers or namath with the rams or even worse, Orr with Chicago.
