crisp or reed but not at the cost of marte, papelbon, or lester. im sorry but those players are valued highly in the baseball world and should be untradeable unless you are getting a star player in return something that neither crisp or reed are. i don't going with a stop gap like a jeff davanon. i see nothing wrong with that if the red sox are going to say that we are not trading our farm which they should not. its been a long time since the red sox have had a farm system like the one we have right now and they should not just throw it away for players like coco crisp who are fine players but not star players.
