same here. varitek has only gotten better with age while posada has declined.

Atlanta at least has some decent young talent while the royals really don't. i would say atlanta's future is alot brighter than the royals. -

there were a ton of rangers fans at the game last night when i was there. i guess they all finally came out of the hole they had been living after 7 years of missing the playoffs.

i would rather get back some Guardians top prospects than either rhodes or saursuck....we already had saursuck here and he failed. the sox have dinardo as the lefty out the pen. he has shown he can pitch in boston already even though it was not alot of innings. i would rather give him a chance then bring either rhodes or saursuck in here.

rhodes sucks. he can't handle the pressure in a big market and chokes in the biggest situations.

marte is not the best prospect but in baseball. he is a top 10 prospect but there are players better than him like delmon young, brandon wood, justin upton, jeremy hermida, BJ upton, alex gordon. i love marte but he is far from the best prospect in baseball. he is still though a great prospect who has 40 homer potential at thirdbase

if its not too hard to find then how come there are not that many on the free agent market. teams tend to lock them up before they reach free agency.

it looks like its too late....evil tony from the herald is reporting the sox are on the verge of a deal with cleveland for crisp contigent on the Guardians acquiring jason michaels from the phillies. i really hope this deal falls through.

Marte has 40 homer potential at a corner position something that is very hard to find. unless we are getting Adam Miller along with crisp this trade should never happen.

Pittsburgh has a much better front seven on D than the Broncos but with really only Troy Polamalu in the secondary it is not anything special. overall i think pittsburgh has the better D because they can shut down the run and do enough in the secondary where they can make plummer ineffective.
