    I was listening. They are very down on his prospects of being useful doing forward.

    It’s pretty obvious that Richards was one of the major cheating culprits. His spin rate is way down and he can’t get movement and get people out without the spin rate. He’s pretty much useless without the foreign substance. He might not be useful for the remainder of the season.

    i wasn’t debating that, just enjoying that he is back to his dominant form. When he is right, it is hard to find someone better.

    Kimbrel has 20 saves, 0.61 ERA , 49 k’s and 9 walks. When he is right, it just isn’t fair for hitters. He destroys them.

    90 plus. I had attributed the success to Varitek’s meticulous game prep, but a good portion might have been substance enhanced spin rate, and Cora is a convicted cheater.

    It may be a faulty memory, but I remember KC being a tough place for the Red Sox even when KC was bad, especially in the carpet years.

    The radio announcers the other day mentioned that Santana was overdue for a hit. I agree that he is overdue, but he is overdue for being DFA’d. I have had enough of this guy... especially as a lead off hitter.

    And I am expecting that the pitcher inspections by the umpires will slow down the game even more. Are these going to be full pat downs with chemical swabs. Will they go to the mound with TSA employees?
