  1. one of the guys is only 18. And all of these guys have had their development stunted by one year. Development-wise they are all very inexperienced and Bloom says that the 2 teens are several years away.
  2. Throw enough teenagers at the wall and hope one of them sticks. If not, the time horizon is so long that no one will remember.
  3. Perez’s run of stellar starts wasn’t sustainable. He was due for a stinker. He’s a meh starter. I just hope to get regular turns, some quality starts or 5 innings of work from him. He’s okay as a #4 guy.
  4. That’s for sure, but does he have 3 plus years left where he can do that?
  5. I agree with every aspect of this post.
  6. Koji threw nothing but strikes. An inning where he threw 20 pitches was more rare than his 10 pitch outings.
  7. The guy who gave me an education about spin rate as I marveled that big league hitters swung under his 88 mph fastballs.
  8. By all means, enjoy his content. It was merely my opinion.
  9. Everyone has biases, but I have not formed a negative opinion about your character based on your posts that would make me reflexively treat you with disdain, as you treat me. I know nothing about your life other than your views about baseball. The worst I can say about you is that your content is as boring and pointless as it is voluminous. Other than that, I have no reason to think you are not a good person.
  10. I don’t know. Self righteous hatred has never been my thing.
  11. Thank you for admitting that you come from a place of bias. Have a good night.
  12. My opinions are publicly stated. When I say that I am wrong, I am sorry that I don’t elaborate enough for you about what I was wrong about. It is accountability even though you think I should make a tearful handwringing mea culpa. You moved the goal posts from saying that I never admit that I am wrong to I don’t apologize the right way. LOL! You crack me up. You should just admit that you don’t like me and nothing I could say would get your stamp of approval.
  13. When we agree it is like a Siskel and Ebert Two Thumbs Up.
  14. Chavis has been productive at the MLB level. Cordero bombed out and so has Santana. Give Chavis his shot. He should have had a roster spot on Day 1.
  15. Santana sucks, but he is versatile. It reminds me of the old comedian joke, “the food wasn’t goo, but the portions were large.”
  16. Did I say that. Or did I admit that the change of scenery did help Pivetta? This is an example of me admitting a mistake... and a pretty recent one.
  17. Of course not, because you are always right when you disagree with me.
  18. Not when you disagree with me.
  19. Sawamura would be my choice, but I have seen some weird official scoring on wins.
  20. You know your stuff. No one disputes that, and you are always right, ... except when you disagree with me.
  21. I wouldn’t be so sure. I have seen it done in similar circumstances. Pivetta can’t get the win.
  22. Pivetta has inherited Porcello’s run support.
