  1. Adam, I need a few of our boys to do some hitting tonight to help me pull out the week. It's been a good battle this week.
  2. You are a jerkoff failure. LOL!
  3. Yet, my boss begs me not to retire.
  4. You need to cut this s***. Go take a tranquilizer and prepare your next resignation letter at work.
  5. Yep, it does. We have some very angry people here who have to demean others. Shame on those of you in the middle who don't call them out on it. Fred is a wild and crazy fan, and he would be the first to admit it. He goes after the players and FO with fervor and he has occasionally crossed the line with other posters, but I he is the bigger person than his attackers as he has several times offered apologies when he has crossed the line. I have never seen an apology offered to Fred by the self righteous haters who are so caught up in their self righteous hate that they can rationalize their abhorrent behavior.
  6. And that was enough for you to quit yet another job.
  7. Yes, the posters should always be a topic of discussion.
  8. Petit could have laid down for a nap on that ball and still thrown out Hannigan by a full step.
  9. Miley is doing great. His ERA is dropping like a stone today. It is presently at 7.83.
  10. And this is a good game for Miley.
  11. He' s worse out there than Cespedes last season.
  12. I see great opportunities for you as a motivational speaker.
  13. College was about 30 years ago for him. He might have matured.
  14. Got the payment. Thank you U.N.
  15. Now it makes sense to me how you can relate so well to the plight of the world's oppressed underclass.
  16. He did put the ball in play and put up good ABs.
  17. Spud, I was wondering if the Yankee broadcast reflected reality at all ( other than the fact that ARod hit a PH HR). Sterling tends to call a fictional account of games. He practically depicted the Fenway crowd as a hate- fueled mob heaping abuse on the stoic hero ARod. I was wondering if the Red Sox broadcasts matched up with this account.
  18. I noticed the all lefty lineup before the game, and I thought Masterson would have a very tough time. I was surprised that his results were as good as they were. How was his velocity?
  19. He pitched a long time for a drunk, and he never had arm trouble. Porcello should hope to have as good a career as D-Lowe.
  20. True to your word about the beginning of May. Thanks. I will pm you the address.
  21. jacko is a teddy bear compared to most Yankee fans.
  22. I missed last night's game. I decided to avail myself of the opportunity to see to of the games top pitchers (Harvey and Scherzer) go head to head. After the game, I caught the end of the Red Sox game on the radio with John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman. I had just missed the ARod homer. They were just gushing. Sterling called it one of the most dramatic things you would ever see. He described the fans reaction to him as very loud and negative and he just went on and on about his great feat. They said how difficult it was to come off the bench in freezing weather to face a guy who was throwing 96 mph. They went on about him until the end of the game and described the scene after the game as if every writer and announcer was lined up to interview the great ARod. Was this close to accurate?
  23. Pruneface, one question -- Do you prefer Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee?
  24. My philosophy of a good batting order bunches your best hitters at the top of the order and I prefer that my best hitter always get an AB in the first inning. I hate lineups that stick a guy in the top of the order that is not one of the team' s top hitters -- to extend the order. That is not productive IMO -- breaking up the good hitters.
