I was at Fenway for his MLB debut in the first game of a Day/Night double header against the Angels in 2007. I remember the Buzz around him coming up. He won that day and went 5 or 6 innings. I remember that his changeup was tremendously deceptive and he got lots of swings and misses. I also remember watching him stretch out in the OF before the game and thinking that he looked like he was 11 years old and that he topped at at 135 lbs. LOL!! My hopes were sky high for him back then and they got highers after his next start which was a no-hitter. There has been a lot of water under the Buchholz bridge since then, but his talent has not been in question. Any questions have been around heart and health. It is a contract year, maybe he will have a big year, but it will be wasted on this team unless the FO decides to make some bold moves.
