    Can't we all just get along? LOL!! We're playing winning baseball. Let's enjoy it. We haven't had this brand of baseball since 2013. If we had a bullpen, I might be onboard with Pedroia, Thunder and Kimmi about making the playoffs.

    I am glad that UZR and DRS agree with my assessment of XBs fielding. Otherwise, I would have to question the validity of those metrics, because I have watched almost every inning of every Red Sox game and part or all of about 100 other games.

    Can anyone think of one good reason why Ogando has not been released. Does it serve any purpose having him in our bullpen except as a reminder of the failure of this team's season? Is he the best bullpen spoon player? Maybe he is the conductor? Seriously, ship his ass home. Is there a stat that shows that he should be regressing to some mean.

    Thunder and Pedey are on the same wavelength.

    They are the under 5'"10 versions of Lynn, Rice, and Evans. Those guys were specimens. We have a disproportionate number of small players. Is that something the scouts look for these days? Personally, that body-type would be a negative for me in scouting anything other than middle infielders. I want small agile middle infielders. I am not a big believer in outfielders under 5'10".

    Because history shows that major league outfielders with all their limbs shouldn't be as bad as Hanley. Of course every other major league outfielder has lots of outfield experience and scouting before they put him in the OF. They don't just pluck a guy with no experience and plop him out there. It was negligence period.

    I'd hate to part with Betts too. I never like trading fill time stars for a pitcher. I'd prefer to trade Bradley.

    Ogando was a terrible signing. The strategy was good, because no reliever can be expected to be as bad as he has been.
