  1. We know that Boggs is an extreme OCD case. He probably never takes off the ring, and it is also a safe bet that he ate chicken yesterday.
  2. That is also true, but they need to put something in the graphics, and some people who don't watch and follow the games do need the information.
  3. So he can hit the ball pretty hard if he gets the barrel on a good fastball. That is his ceiling. We know that he doesn't get the barrel on pitches in enough ABs. Do we really need average exit velocity to tell us that?
  4. Kelly needs to keep the ball in the ballpark. The Over/Under on Home runs by Kelly is 2. If he can keep it at 2 or under, we can compete, as long as they are not 3 run bombs (a Buchholz specialty).
  5. f*** Donnie Baseball. Hodges was the man.
  6. How do you feel that Big Papi can wave 3 rings from this century in front of your nose when no Yankee has more than 1?
  7. Boggs is okay. The Red Sox didn't want him when he still had 6 years left in him. The owners messed up in letting an all time great walk for chump change.
  8. That is what it is. It gives broadcasters something to talk about and ooh and ah about it. I am with Jerry Remy on this in that I don't really care about it. It iis a meaningless stat imo.
  9. The exit velocity on his bomb against Betances must have been pretty high.
  10. Buch has been garbage. We don't need advanced stats or analytics or fangraphs to know that. If the numbers and graphs don't support that he has been garbage, then someone got the numbers or the graphs wrong.
  11. Not lost in the winning streak is the fact that the starting pitching needs reinforcing.
  12. We're losing control to these interlopers!! We need to take our forum back and make TalkSox great again!! Our collctive OCD cannot stand clutter and disorganization.
  13. He only made a few bad pitches. The batter almost knocked down the light bank on that one Homer. He needs to work on avoiding bad innings.
  14. It is a no-brainer that Clay gets dropped from the rotation.
  15. But preferring a bag of donuts is the same as having no interest in him.
  16. Pedroia leaves the game but doesn't look hurt. Maybe MVP got his wish and the Red Sox traded him.
  17. Hanley still has some speed.
  18. When Bogaerts hits them, they go a long way.
  19. I would prefer a bag of donuts.
  20. He looks like he could still pitch.
  21. I am just not following your logic.
