  1. Correction: Craig has 18 ABs and is back on the DL.
  2. And now he is educating top young minds at Columbia.
  3. You would think those guys could have netted some solid prospects. Craig isn't even playing at AAA. He came off the DL, but isn't pitching. He has 8 ABs.
  4. Lester is still a top pitcher, but we don't believe in long term contracts.
  5. His ERA is 5.40 over his last 5 starts. He is at best a #5. If he pitches to a 4.10 - 4.25 ERA with 200 innings i will be pleased.
  6. He is having trouble with a banjo hitting lineup in a pitcher-friendly park.
  7. Doesn't matter where the Home Run pitch was. Porcello continues to give up too many of them. He gave up 25 in 172 innings last year and he is continuing giving them up at the same rate.
  8. Porcello --the sinker ball pitcher with the home run pitch.
  9. This is a good time to face the Giants without Posey and Pence.
  10. Young is in a good groove. Nice RBI double.
  11. If he didn't get on base so much, he wouldn't need the rest. That is a conundrum.
  12. And once again, the stats backup what I already knew about the Red Sox.
  13. Tailon has been dominating AAA this season and will make his 2016 debut with the Pirates on Wednesday.
  14. Yep. It happened quickly.
  15. The pitching is not and has not been good, and it has not been just one bad turn through the rotation. I agree.
  16. Every one of Farrell's teams ran the bases like mindless little leaguers. It was so bad in Toronto that Omar Vizquel (a very well respected veteran and borderline Hall of famer) noted that the Blue jay running game was bizarre.
  17. This is accurate. No dispute from me. You advocated to get him at the beginning. I did not, but I had no other preferred candidate. While I don't have a high opinion of Farrell's in-game moves, I have no particular issue with the job that he has done this year. My bar is low for managers as you know. I don't have a very high opinion of any managers. Farrell is within the margin of error one way or the other when comparing him to other managers.
  18. Only because it hasn't happened yet, but I am confident enough to place a wager.
  19. Kapler then.
  20. Yeah, I am sure that will hold.
  21. Over the Hill Sabathia is over the hill. I wouldn't expect much from him if I were you, unless your bar is somewhere around a prolonged DL stint and an alcohol relapse.
  22. He hated it here, so screw him. I'd prefer to coax Damon out of retirement. LOL!!
