There used to be an announcer in NY who used to show the turning point of the game and then would say "you could turn off your televisions right there." With Sale on the mound, that could be the case right after the first pitch. First 2 pitches == a Homer completely out of Fenway and a a double off the wall. The only no-brainer about Clay is that he sucks. -
Jeter had to be dirty. It is hard to believe that he could have been so durable without some help.

My point is that I agree with Spud in that I don't think it is much better than a .500 team. I was a little reluctant to go out on a limb like you to make the point that the team is currently 39-30.
