Three deep starts in a row would be very helpful to cover for our decimated bullpen until DD can get it some help. -
OMG! But what about the future. We can't sacrifie the future. Just being sarcastic, and it is not directed at you. I have been beating this drum to all those who can't bear with parting with prospects. Good pitching is not going to fall into our laps from the sky. And we have a real lack of quality arms in our organization, so they will need to come from the outside. Our payroll is already pretty high, so it is doubtful that we can add another $200 million FA (who everyone seems to hate, BTW). The only avenue left to acquire quality pitching is to trade in some prospect chips if we want to have a playoff team before 2021.

The west coast travel almost always brings with it a lull in the offense. From what I have read, it is the second day that is the worst. There is no scientific explanation for it. Luckily, we had a really good pitching performance. Tonight, hopefully the offense will get back in sync.

Great start from Porcello. 17 innings of 2 run ball from our starters the last 2 nights. That is fantastic.

I would only put Altuve ahead of him. Murphy is barely adequate defensively. Cano has slipped defensively. And except for power, Pedey is a better player than Kinsler.

It is about time that someone unloaded on Lincecum.

Due in part to the guys in front of him getting on base so often. I really can't find fault with Pedey's game on either side of the ball this season.

Get rid of him! Bring up Moncada.

You definitely don't want fast guys batting behind slow guys under any circumstances. That would just negate their speed.

WTH is Betts doing? Lincecum can't throw strikes but he gives away an out on the bases -- a gift. He cost us a run. Farrell teams run like idiots.

Price is going to figure it out on his own if he figures it out. Guru pitching coaches at the major league level are mythical. The organization's efforts would have more concrete results if they get another pitcher to fill the back of the rotation.

The footwork is much different at First Base. He can't make effective throws to second base at all. He lobs his throws. Last night, when he actually tried to put a little steam on his throw, he airmailed it. I have no confidence in him on throwing plays. -

WE took our 20 year old daughter to Disneyland last Xmas.That is nice. Most 20 year olds don't want to spend a vacation alone with parents. I still don't think the whole FO made the trip to the coast for pleasure, especially since they are all at the ballpark. -

Hanley cannot make plays requiring that he throw the ball. He is just awful at that aspect.
