  1. Pretty much. The CFer ran down at least one ball.
  2. and add another $100 million.
  3. He didn't. Did you watch the game? He handed the ball over after the game was tied.
  4. Hill doesn't need to be in there. Shaw should be at 3rd, Hanley at first and leon should be DHing. DHing is an off day for the catcher.
  5. Our manager has managed the end of a few of these games very poorly when we have had the lead. Yesterday's bullpen management was very bad. The bullpen gave us 3 innings with 1 run, which came on the last play of the game. He should have gone to his late inning guys Ziegler and Kimbrel and let them earn their money.
  6. Not to me. If he opts out, it will be because his market value has gone up.
  7. They have hit the balls hard.
  8. He has been placed on the DL. We have probably seen the last of him for 2016, and if he needs reconstructive surgery, we will not see him again until the ASB in 2017. What a shame. He was a lot of fun to watch. He has such a sweet swing at the plate and he was already a very tough out. Going forward if this turns out to be reconstructive surgery this could change the trajectory of his career -- a lilltle guy with a bum wheel. His legs are a big part of his game. He is more of a triples guy than a home run hitter.
  9. Yes, we could spend save $150 million on the remainder of Price's contract and spend $300 million on our next FA pitcher.
  10. Buch, Ellsbury and Drew were/are all frail. Pablo is just a lazy fat slob.
  11. Until you start mastering the facts....grain of salt.
  12. Except for that, it is a great lineup.
  13. We are in a waiting pattern to see who brings in the big bullpen pigs first.
  14. Looking at the replay of that Benintendi play it is striking how on one night he can make such an outstanding athletic play where his body was completely under control and his movements were so graceful, and tonight he looked lie a newborn Giraffe with his legs going in all different directions and falling down.
  15. Also an assist from the 3rd base coach, Butterball. Boxmal was right that the runners should have been going on a ball hit on the ground. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and no one out, even if the runner gets thrown out at the plate, Benintendi would have moved over to 3rd with 1 out. And if you have decided to hold the runners on a ball hit on the ground, let Benintendi know about it. Our coaching leaves a lot to be desired, even though Butterball gets to the ballpark ahead of the grounds crew.
  16. With a big assist from Farrell whose job it is to push the right buttons to preserve the lead in the late innings.
  17. He pushed Porcello too far. Even if he pitched out of the 8th, I would not have pushed Porcello's pitch count that high.
  18. Porcello did his job. He got the team to the 8th inning with a lead and he had over 100 pitches. It is time to hand the ball to the 8th and 9th inning guys.
  19. I f you think that you might be going to Ziegler in the 8th, why leave Porcello out ther to amass a career high in pitches on fumes?
  20. He would be 75 years old by the time she would be old enough to drink.
