    I want them fighting for last. Screw that Underdog stuff. If the Yankees fielded a team full of blind and deaf paraplegics with seeing eye dogs, I wouldn't consider them to be underdogs and I would hope that they would finish last and that their stadium would burn to the ground.

    Normalcy has returned. When Pedey hits, the Red Sox score a lot of runs. Hill has has to go. I don't know why DD insists on holding onto this steaming pile of stink.

    i'll take the blame. I can't understand how Pedroia and Betts were on base 10 times in 10 ABs and we only scored 3 runs. In this case, the term anomaly would not be over used .

    White people who have never experienced racism or lived within 100 miles of a real slum are hypersensitive to racism. BTW, what people consider slums in Boston are a joke. Those are wealth zones compared to real slums.

    Hill stinks, and he has stunk for a long time. He has had one good full season in the the las 7 years. Cut this guy now. He is useless. Marco can't hit worse. He fields just as well and he has more speed.

    I think Vasquez can learn to hit. His contact rate isn't bad, so I think he can improve.

    And that is what I would take into consideration when deciding to exercise his option. His entire body of work this season and not his last 2 months.

    I am not so sure that pitchers over 30 blow out their arms more often than pitchers under 30. You will have to get over not liking big long contracts for pitchers. In my lifetime, we have drafted and developed 2 star pitchers -- Clemens and Lester. We can't depend on scouting and pitcher development for our pitching.

    I know I a guy that blew out both knees skiing and he went to the airport flew home and had his double reconstructive knee surgery in NY, so I don't think we can take to much encouragement from the fact that he is walking around. However, it is not a bad sign either.

    Chris Young was trying to steal per JF -- no missed sign. WTH, he was out by 25 feet.
