Are you hitting the eggnog before noon? I am also hoping that Panda has a big turnaround season, but even if he does, I would not be comfortable with him in the cleanup spot. Here is the lineup that i would go with: 1. Benintendi 2. Pedroia 3. Bogaerts 4. Betts 5. Hanley 6 Pablo 7. Bradley 8. Young/Moreland 9. Catcher I am still holding out hope that EE falls to us, because I am not thrilled with the lineup against LHP.

Honest answer. That is not what I am saying. Several of them will be in the majors in the next year or so. The reason why I refer to 2021 is that's when others are projecting that this team will fall off a cliff. I don't buy into that prediction, and I am content to enjoy the next 3-5 years of teams with lots of top talent.

You caused the confusion. And I admitted to that. Twice yesterday, you injected yourself in a discussion to argue with me even though you didn't agree with the point that I was arguing against. You need to give it up, not me.

The owner always has the final call. It is his money, but a good GM can impose his will by making a strong baseball case for his moves and understanding the budgetary constrictions. Along with the position comes accountability.

I think you are being biased and more than slightly paranoid. I am allowed to have a different opinion from you and others, and I have openly stated my opinion that 2021 to 2025 is too distant to really get me worried. I will worry about that period in a couple of years or so. That is how I prioritize my concerns. That is not bashing you or anyone for that matter. Not only did you enter into 2 discussions today that you were not part of, but you got personally insulting even though you didn't disagree with my side of either argument. If you want to talk about lacking tolerance of opposing views, you demonstrate intolerance of my opinions even when you do not disagree with me. I accept your apology about the insults, but there really is no need for you to oppose what I am saying if I am not addressing you or one of your opinions. There is plenty to argue about when we really disagree about something.

If you LOVE the Sale trade, why did you feel the need to stir so much s*** with me? I didn't accuse you of anything in my initial post on this issue. The post that got the whole argument rolling was Notin's, and my response to that post did not mention you and was not in response to any of your posts. Yet, you took the opportunity to enter the fray and fan a flame war and hurl a few insults at me. This is the second time today that you entered a discussion between me and another poster when I wasn't addressing you and took the opportunity to insult me. Knock it off, clown.
