    The NBA is a joke. The Warriors added one of the best players in the game, Durant to the best regular season team of all time. The only team that can compete is the Cavaliers. Below the Cavaliers there are a few Western Conference teams that are good teams. The rest of the league and the whole Eastern Conference sans the Cavs are doormats. The league is a joke. Durant is going to pat himself on the back for winning a Championship as a hired gun on an All Star team. Whenever Lebron goes somewhere he brings along with him a core of All Stars. He did it in Miami and in Cleveland. Big whoop.

    Yes, there is an ignore feature. And he is worthy of its use. He doesn't look to discuss the Red Sox. He looks to argue and often quite obnoxiously.

    2015 and 2016 were opposite extremes. He is somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. He is an effective innings eater who keeps his team in most of his games.

    It was awesome base running as it is when our guys do it. It is also poor defense when the opposition misses our guys as it was with Pablo today.

    He did it with the Mets who were managed by Casey Stengel at the time. I read that Stengel cut him after that because he didn't like sharing the spotlight as an eccentric.

    Impacted the ball. LOL!! That does sound pretty douchey. Impacted is for wisdom teeth, Farrell, and you have no wisdom.

    Lucky break for us. Moreland almost got caught off 3B to end the inning. Terrible throw by Pena saved Moreland another base running rock.

    Maybe the coaching staff is too immersed in looking at stats instead of watching the game.

    He was also the dope who got tagged out on the triple play. The umps screwed up the call, but either way he did the wrong thing. If he thought it was an infield fly, he ass should have been planted on 2B. If he thought there was no infield fly call, he should have been headed to 3B. He was 2 steps off of 2B when the throw came in and he was going back to the base. What he did was inexplicable under any circumstances. I think you are right -- Moreland is building a thick record of stupidity on the bases.

    Maybe he ran through the stop sign. I didn't notice that. But you have to be yelling at your guys. "Back back back!" should have been getting screamed by Butterworth. What does he think his role is out there -- to relay all the signs for the plays that we never put on?

    Someone should have yelled first base too. Another failure on that play. It comes back to coaching.

    Nope. He is looking at the 3B coach who should have both hands held high stopping the runner.

    And I am tired about listening about how hard 3B coach Butterball works. Hard work means nothing if it is stupid work. Were his hands up to stop Moreland from making the last out at 3B in the first inning?

    I don't care who made the mistake. There is too much stupidity on the bases and in the field and the blame lies at the feet of Farrell.

    Our fielding and base running continues to be mindless. This isn't a function of randomness. It is a function of poor coaching. Farrell needs to go.

    And it would have been a bang bang play with the runner moving. The play was at first base, but Marrero didn't do his job either.

    Also a mistake by Marrero, but stupid fat man should have gone to first base with the throw.
