  1. I was wondering about this situation the other day on a foul ball that almost caromed off a fans hand into the players glove. In this case, I would call it an out because I would make the judgement that the fan had interfered with Mookie.
  2. Porcello giving it the old college try ... trying to give up a 3 HR.
  3. We used to hit CC better when he had good stuff. He is throwing puss balls to the plate and our hitters look like dopes.
  4. So now Porcello is a sometimes sinkerballer?
  5. Bradley is having a horrendous night. He booted a double into a triple. He collided with Betts. He k'd and hit a weak assed comebacker that CC fielded barehanded with a runner on third and no outs.
  6. Maybe we should phantom DL this bum until he straightens himself out.
  7. Porcello is giving up 3 run bombs this year. Last year the Homers were solo jobs.
  8. Last year he got good D and great run support. This year it is the opposite.
  9. CC is just a junk baller now.
  10. Paul O'Neil is talking about what it takes to be clutch. Fool!!
  11. Sandoval is useless against lefties.
  12. What was that pitch to Gardner? The announcers say that it was a 2 seamers, but I thought it had screwball action.
  13. And that is what I was afraid of last night in the 8th inning against Barnes. Porcello loves the HR ball this year. And he gives up too many hits. More stupid fielding.
  14. Nice hustle play by Rutledge to get to second base.
  15. I didn't get the NESN feed last night.
  16. It is so obvious sometime that I wonder if they blink when the ball hits the catcher's glove.
  17. This lineup is growing on me.
  18. I don't know how you lasted until 2004.
  19. Other than the double? I didn't trust him, but I wouldn't have faulted Farrell for giving Barnes one more batter.
  20. I think what is being said by some people is that managers don't matter in matters that affect the outcome of games, but managers do matter for things and aspects for which there is no measurable metric or outcome. In this way, they can avoid accountability unless they are a Valentine-like douche.
  21. Last season there were times where Kimbrel clearly over powered Leon. I think he is very tough to catch.
