We have one star hitter -- Betts. Pedroia is very good -- and a spark for the team when he is hot, but not a star. We need more big hitters to produce runs consistently. DD needs to get a big bat for first base/ DH.

When he got sent down, he continued slumping for an extended period at AAA. He just did nothing to win the job. He only started hitting this season -- a full year after he was removed from the 40 man roster. In order to remove him from the 40 man roster, he had to pass through waivers without anyone claiming him. He has been a complete bus. He has hit for 2 1/2 months at AAA after having him for 2 years. We signed him at 26 years old and he is now 29 years old. He was supposed to be major league ready, not a guy that had to develop in the minors. He is a major bust.

Boohoo for Porcello and the lack of run support. he has been horseshit all season long with his 4.55 ERA, a ton of hits and HRs. He doesn't fit for a weak hitting team. He needs a bashing lineup or he loses 15 to 30 games each year.

His April/May output seem to be the outlier in his career.

His hot-streak has past. His power output has not been that great the last 2 months.

He got off to a very hot start making his 2017 stats deceptive. He had one power spurt in his career and it was this past April and May.

MLB players acting like rude *******s --not really news. If it wasn't directed at an affable well-liked HOFer, it would have passed a week ago. No reason to hate too much on Price. There are a lot of a-holes in MLB. -
you think it might be a phantom DL? It is devastating news if he goes on DL again. Our offense needs help and losing Price on top of that could send us into a tailspin.

It is easy to understand. Managers are idiots. If one more manager brings in a lefty to pitch to Didi I am going to scream. He kills lefties. Red's manager did it yesterday and Didi homered. Brain dead Cash did it tonight and Didi got a lead off hit.

Nunez can run well. He had 40 steals a year ago, so Farrell will probably get him thrown out at 3rd about 5 times with 0 outs or 2 outs.
