  1. I guess some people will be posting about how Estrada was masterful tonight. NOT!!! He is a bag of s***, but our lineup sucks! We don't have enough offense to close the deal this season and that has been obvious from day 1 --regardless of underperformances.
  2. WTH is Devers -- a legit power threat on the bench against a RHP????
  3. Arre we going to get shut out by this pig? Come on!
  4. We should all lobby the MLB office to suspend Farrell for the remainder of the season --- but he does such a great job handling the press. GTFOH
  5. I had to fix my prior post as it contained a lot of unintentional gibberish unlike my usual intentional gibberish.
  6. They would run on me without having to see me throw. My staggering under the popfly would have been enough of a clue. I still would have gunned out his ass from that spot if I caught the ball -- a big if.
  7. He's either injured or getting old. I can't figure out Hanley.
  8. Of course, Butterball would have sent Sandy Leon on a popup like that and he'd have been out by 40 feet. Aggressive base running is what they call it. Not Farrell's fault. He has no idea what is going on.
  9. Bautista probably would not have run on you either if he hadn't seen you throw previously.
  10. I wouldn't ooh and ahh over that play too much. It was little more than an IF popout. Edit: And there is a 36 year old on 3rd base.
  11. The era of physics in baseball! LOL!! Most baseball players can't even add.
  12. Betts has been a complete flop since May. No power. No production. No threat.
  13. And OB, who announces every game every season, needed stats to prove that to him. Once again, the numbers have supported my opinion that I formed on day one before there were stats for the season.
  14. Basically, Mr. Dweeb is pointing out what many of us have been saying here -- that we have no one in our lineup that scares a pitcher. There is no star.
  15. Such a sexist!
  16. Hopefully, the punishment is that Farrell gets suspended for the rest of the season.
  17. How could Farrell not know? If he didn't know about it, that is an indictment of him not being in control of things.
  18. That is worse than I thought.
  19. Sometimes it can be a pain in the neck getting them in sync. If I am watching them through MLB.com they have the functionality where you can chose the radio feeds as an overlay and that is synced. If I have to sync my TV with the computer radio feed, it is more difficult. Direct TV has a slower feed than the computer, so I can't sync them. Cable is faster and you can use the pause feature to slow it up to match the radio feed. Sometimes I just throw up my hands and listen to the radio feed and turn off the TV or I watch the TV with the sound off.
  20. Seriously, shame on all of us? Most of us didn't even post about her, never mind say anything sexist. Shame on you for playing the part of the victim and generalizing about everyone else.
  21. Mendoza is a terrible announcer. There is nothing sexist about that. Boone is horrible too. They form a mutual admiration society in the booth and they always pick out 1 or 2 players who they gush over for 9 innings regardless of whether those players have any impact on that game. ESPN had a great pitching analyst Curt Schilling who they fired for political reasons. Their booth is terrible now. I stream the radio feed, because I can't listen to them.
  22. i said nothing about managers being fungible in that post so don't go trying to justify your attempt to be snarky and to troll an old argument. If you want to discuss something in a serious manner, fine, but f***off with your lame attempt at snark. At least own up to being snarky instead of lame explanations.
  23. But that is not what you addressed in your post. You just had a snarky comment to make. I said "sometimes change for change sake is good". I disagree that it "rarely if ever" works. It works if an attitude of complacency has set in. It can also energize an organization, but you are free to disagree.
