  1. I do get chest pains on balls hit to 3rd base.
  2. We needed 15 outs and got only 2 outs before coughing up the lead.
  3. Hitting the ball with his nose was the best contact Pedroia has made in 3 games. Who needs Pedey, we have Brock Holt.
  4. He would get FT ABs.
  5. Hey Pedey, you don't need your nose to play the game. Shake it off and play the game.
  6. Alex Speier with more illumination -- Devers hasn't hit a HR in a while and he is making some errors and Pedroia's knee still hurts. Oh boy, riveting. They are going to hold him over for another half inning for more useless information.
  7. At least they are not managed by Gardenhire who always overmanaged against the Yankees and found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
  8. Who is in the booth with OB tonight?
  9. Vasquez at DH highlights how useless Young has been. I would have opted to go with Davis at DH.
  10. You can't even take the pressure of Fantasy Baseball.
  11. Here is the Red Sox' lineup with Doug Fister on the mound: 1. Xander Bogaerts SS 2. Dustin Pedroia 2B 3. Andrew Benintendi LF 4. Mookie Betts RF 5. Mitch Moreland 1B 6. Christian Vazquez DH 7. Rafael Devers 3B 8. Sandy Leon C 9. Jackie Bradley Jr. CF Good news that Betts is back in the lineup. Interesting that Vasquez is DHing
  12. I couldn't believe my eyes when he intentionally walked Judge as the tying run to pitch to an equally dangerous power hitter in Sanchez. The announcers didn't even know what to say. And I am pissed that Bundy got pushed back.
  13. He is on a slippery slope.
  14. I would get a dedicated DH if he has a wrecking ball attached to his bat like J.D. does.
  15. He would be a beast at DH. He wouldn't need to play the field.
  16. You kicked my butt all week long. I couldn't get back into the contest as you increased your leads in each category as the week went on. Congratulations and good luck in the playoffs, buddy. Gringo has been tough all season long.
  17. And then Jordan's free furniture is in play!
  18. And that is a good point. He was an unknown for me after the long layoff and no rehab games, but I did hear that JF would use him either today or tomorrow, so I just figured if he was planning on using him today, I would have gone with him early. If he was going to blow up the game it didn't matter if he came in for the 6th or 7th, but i thought if he was sharp we might be able to get 3 inning from him. I had no idea what he was going to bring to the mound. He looked good, and that was encouraging.
  19. I can't prove it, but you can't prove that we wouldn't have won. And JF cannot prove that his way didn't result in a loss. LOL!!
  20. Not bias. it did cost us the game. I just can't prove that my way woud have won the game. At least i have an argument. JF does not.
  21. $21.5 million doesn't buy you much these days. What is Pom worth $150 million this season?
  22. I remember you saying that it was an interesting idea to go to Price in the 6th. We were right and it was the right move at the right time. Farrell was an inning late and it cost the team. I didn't say that it was a moronic move by him and didn't scream fro him to be fired. The move was just too late. The armchair guys on the gamethread called it right today. Can JF follow us on his tablet during the game or is that against league rules?
  23. That is the hope -- to peak at the right time.
