Reading the context usually helps. Also, imagine him warning me about being a hypocrite if I do not criticize DD if he bombs out. Clearly, he just doesn't get me. I thought most people here knew about my universal disdain for FO types. LOL!!

I was on DD from Spring Training about the offense. I felt that he really missed the boat and misjudged the market for Encarnacion. It was a gripe that I carried throughout the season.

You are here pretty regularly, so you should know that I was constantly criticizing DD last season for his terrible construction of the offense. I don't spare any GM's. I am not a fan or defender of any FO. Where have you been? LOL!!

if he makes the Rotation mid season 2018, he was 3 seasons away when Ben got fired. I don’t view that as near MLB ready.

It is hypocritical that the same people who talk about the playoffs as crapshoot will criticize DD for consistently getting to the crap table, but not winning the Championship. At the same time the laud praise on Ben for finishing last 3 Times in 4 seasons and winning at the crap table the one time he got there. Sorry, but I will opt for consistent winning baseball that gives us a chance at a championship each October, but that is just me. At least my position doesn’t smack of hypocrisy.

Even when you are insulting you are long-winded and boring. You have gone a little overboard with the insults today. For the record, I don't care if I ever convince you or anyone else about any of my positions. They are my opinions based on a combination of observations and statistics. Sometimes I have to rely more on stats when I don't get to see a player very much. Regardless of how I get to my opinion, it is well informed. You have a problem with people disagreeing with you, and you are compelled to prove them wrong. You relentlessly inundate people with statistics because you are under some delusion that stats make your opinion dispositively correct, and you will not stop or accept anything short of full capitulation. It really is obnoxious, not at all conducive to good message board discussion, and usually obnoxious people aren't quite as boring as you are.

Get me some stats, not generalizations. You are getting lazy in addition to being stupid and doltish and worst of all ... interminably boring. That is the biggest sin for a sports message board -- being boring and you are the King of Boring. And you more than anyone else have brought boredom to TalkSox.

Just as Masahiro Tanaka has a chronic elbow issue and David Ortiz had chronic heel issues, but neither are injury prone. Things really have to be spelled out for you.
