    I almost never miss an entire game, 5 or less, usually less. i see at least a part of every other game-- mostly full games except for channel surfing to watch other games.

    JD is not that bad in the OF. In one game he made a couple of very nice catches — one to his right and one to his left. He was a gold glove finalist one year with the Tigers. Even being a skeptic of the GG awards— the nominated players are care usually good fielders.

    We need to enjoy this randomness as certainly there are people living in fear of dreaded regression. Also, if the window/cliff theory is right we really need to relish these moments as the Yankee’s window is arguably on the way. We should all take every opportunity to rub Yankee fan faces in this success, because they will not remember our magnanimity when they are on top.

    J.D. Martinez is an excellent hitter. We have slapped around the halos so badly the last couple of nights that the stadium has been emptying since the 6th inning.

    The guy is tremendously strong going the other way. I am very interested to see him at Yankee Stadium.

    I think he will improve our infield defense. And if he legs are healthy, the little guy can still get in red hot hitting streaks -- although statistically they don't exist.
