  1. I hope Sturtze is still with the Yankees on Tuesday.
  2. He needs work. The Yankees are coming up. MDC won't see any work against them.
  3. Sturtze on the hill. Nice error with a 5 run lead on a comebacker.
  4. Terry probably wants to get Foulke an inning of work with the Yankees coming up on Tuesday and a day off on Monday.
  5. Lucky thing that Tavarez didn't touch that ball. He would have ruined the DP.
  6. It's only May 7th, so better look out at the Stadium next week, because as Papi likes to say: "Somebody has got to pay."
  7. This is par for the course for Ortiz. On the pre-game, they pointed out that in May in the last 2 years his average was about .250-.260, but his power production is up this year, so the league had better watch out.
  8. Oh yes, we are very worried about Ortiz' hitting. Hopefully, he'll break out of it against the Yankees.
  9. Manny 9 for 11 agains Benson after that hit. He owns him.
  10. If he starts hitting, watch out becuse the table will be set for the big guys.
  11. There's no way that a pitcher will give Wily Mo anything to hit with 2 outs and nobody on Cora on-deck. AGon is not a good hitter but he has occasional power.
  12. Nice economical inning. If he can go 6, Terry will be thrilled.
  13. That is probably what the coaching staff is looking for. MDC is backing him up today.
  14. DiNardo's jitters are back.
  15. I don't like Alex Cora. I hate when he plays. He is a notch below AGon in fielding.
  16. Looks like Lenny got over his first inning jitters.
  17. You can't pull the plug on Papelbon as closer. He has been light out in that role. You don't mess with that kind of success. Plus, let's remember that he was a closer in College. The Sox were going to convert him to starting pitching. Leaving him as a closer is not messing with him. It's something he knows and is obviously very comfortable with it. Hansen will now be the pitcher that they look to convert. If Wells can do the job or if the Sox get Clemens, you will probably not see Hansen until next season or later in the second half of this season, as they will be grooming him to be a starter.
  18. The scouting is pretty uniform that this kid has a lot of talent. That being said, he was bound to start getting some good outings under his belt.
  19. Seanewz with a clean inning. I am in shock.
  20. Riv, here's your favorite pitcher, and he got an out.
