    Bard looks helpless behind the dish. Ithink it is getting to him mentally. On the bright side, he has looked good with the bat.

    Manny styling in the OF. He has looked very good out there this year. The extra work in spring training has paid off. No Manny moments in the field so far. Knock on wood.

    I never said that he can't be effective. He can be very effective, but for me it is nerve -wracking to watch him pitch.

    I really hate watching Wakefield pitch with that damn knuckler. I never feel confident when he is out there. Add the passed balls and the easy steals. It's just a torture.

    Terry said that Wily Mo might get some time in CF this week. That could be scary, but he is such a huge upgrade offensively over Harris that it would be worht it. Besides, Harris isn't exactly Paul Blair out there.

    He is a good team mate. He is not crying for or demanding his closers job. He'll do what the team needs.

    You are joking ...right? It just bounced off his glove? If Wily Mo makes that play, I expect it, but he is a threat at the plate.

    He may not be able to get big "Closer" money anywhere, and he would be the perfect successor to Timlin as an 8th inning guy.

    He also should have caught the ball in the 8th inning. A good fielder makes that play, and he boxed it into a double. If you put a guy out there solely for his glove, he had better be Paul Blair. And Paul Blair was like Ted Williams as a hitter compared to Harris. He is a zero. They should have kept Stern until Coco comes back. At least Stern can drive the ball ocassionally. Harris hit s like a sick Daren Lewis. They should have let him walk. He is killing the bottom of the order, and any pitcher is crazy to throw a strike to Lowell with Harris in the on-deck circle.

    Too many automatic outs in the lineup. Harris should not be in there. He brings zero-- not even a great glove.

    I am not as negative about Snow and Bard, but I think Harris adds no value at all.

    I really hope Terry stops playing Harris against righties. I hope he has Mohr in CF tonight. Harris is an automatic out. He brings nothing to the table. If I wasn't terrified to see Wily Mo in CF, I'd like to get his bat in the lineup. It would be nice to get some thunder from the bottom of the lineup.

    I would think they have to move him to AAA soon, and if he can similarly dominate at AAA his stay will be very short.

    He will probably be back in time for the second Yankee series, he'll probably shut them down.
