    I just don't start with that stuff-- personal insults. I expect others to act accordingly. I made no threat...physical or otherwise, so I don't understand your post. You use your first post of the day to engage in a personal attack. It just proves why the Yankee fans should be banned from these boards. You Yankee fanns polute the boards with personal insults. Be clever. Be entertaining. or just go away.

    It's a pretty tough team to beat. The only change I might make would be Joe Cronin at SS. Also honorable mentions should go to: Mel Parnell, Tek, Leftty Grove, Lonborg, and Frank Malzone..

    Is 4-runs in 6-innings against KC considered a quality start? I still think Wong i s a solid #2, Whew! Wong gets out of it by striking out Whooshamacallit.

    Oops, there goes the shutout. Too bad, but Wang looks very sharp. He could be a very solid #2. 3 doubles in a row to no-names--- just an aberration.

    Lester is certainly a reasonable price for Willis. If that was the price, it would have been done already. I am sur they want Lester plus more. How could you say that Lester even up for Willis is too much? Would you be willing to trade Beckett for some team's top pitching prospect, let's say Jared Weaver? Of course not, you don't trade a young stud pitcher even up for a prospect. The Marlins have been asking for David Wright from the Mets. Do you really think that they will only ask for Lester from us.

    Torre was never a good game manager, and now, whether due to advancing senile dementia or something, he is worse. His job has been veryt easy for the last 10 years, because he has only had to manage the first 7 innings of each game. A combination of Mo and one or two other top relievers took care of the last two innings. If his starter gave him a quality start, he essentially had no decisions to make after submitting the lineup card.

    Correction, some Yankee fan on these boards referred to Mussina as their "Rock." Well, their Rock got rocked by the worst team in baseball on the night that PD got his 2000. I haven't had a laugh like this since Phil Rizutto day when Phil got knocked over by the Holy Cow, and Tom Seaver completely ruined the day on the Scooter by winning his 300 game against the Yanks.
