  1. He is very good at it. He has the vibe of a used car manager.
  2. Kennedy is another liar. At a luncheon with the season ticket holders a few years back, he told us that the Red Sox would be very interested in Bryce Harper. Was there a single report of the Red Sox meeting with him, making inquiries or an offer? No. There is no reason to lie to or mislead the most loyal and financially supportive segment of your fan base. Kennedy should be flushed out with the organizational enema.
  3. And shortly before the date for renewal of season tickets, Bloom had a conference call with season ticket holders and assured them that his #1 priority was to make Mookie a Red Sox for life. The deadline for renewal was December 17th. Within a few weeks, the trade Mookie rumors started. I dismissed the rumors because of his unequivocal position to do everything to keep Mookie. Certainly, he would try to resign him and wouldn’t trade him. I think he lied to us, and with all my criticisms of GM’s, I can’t remember any of them lying to the fans. For all of my criticisms of Benny, he was extremely honest. He never told us that he would do one thing and then did the opposite. He had integrity.
  4. He went north without a starting rotation. The entire season our rotation was TBA. That is a recipe for losing.
  5. Sam Kennedy acknowledged the big indelible mark left on the organization by Bloom. Yeah NO MOOKIE BETTS. That left a mark.
  6. I think he is a goner.
  7. That was a turning point.
  8. Where did everyone else go!
  9. You accused me of false assumptions and accusations. He did not. In that regard, I am pointing out your blatant hypocrisy.
  10. He can be giddy, but you have assumed that he is happier than if the Red Sox were in the playoffs. Do you know that? Hypocrite.
  11. Who else posts there?
  12. You are the last person who should be preaching about making false assumptions and accusations.
  13. Do you think he was tasked with driving down attendance and interest in the franchise, because in that regard he has been a huge success?
  14. Bloom wasn’t bad at everything. He demonstrated aptitude at cleaning the ballpark in between games of a double header. Maybe he can start a cleaning service.
  15. And it is no small thing that attendance has been off and interest and viewership are down. A failure in every aspect.
  16. Send me a PM. I will not reveal the location. This place has been ruined.
  17. Oh my goodness, the endless cycle of blame — wash, rinse, repeat. Of course the ignorant fan base will be blamed for forcing billionaire JH into firing the genius Bloom, whose legacy in Boston will be making the second worst trade in Res Sox history. Maybe the worst trade. Frazee got money to make a pretty good play (No no Nanette) LOL!
  18. He was an unmitigated flop.
  19. I guessed right. Who else was with me?
  20. This is cause for optimism for 24 and beyond. Bloom was an unmitigated flop.
  21. Tell me where the interesting people have gone.
  22. I don’t know. Did they go elsewhere or did they just stop posting about the Red Sox?
  23. Hmmm. I wonder why. Many many interesting posters have abandoned this board.
  24. It’s obvious that you just have problems with me.
  25. This is your perception. I should have been more precise so you wouldn’t have gone into blah, blah, blah mode
