  1. Chan Ho taking our hitters to school.
  2. This offense has no pop. Cameron would have played Youk's ball off the base of the wall.
  3. And Cameron should have caught Posada's ball. Nevertheless, when Shoendouche pitches, we will lose more than we will win.
  4. I can't believe how many people are jumping on the 'Ortiz is Toast' bandwagon after 2 games.
  5. s***! Coco is going. I thought he was banned from Yankee games or any other important games. Now, I don't feel bad about missing the first 1 1/2 hours of the game. This will be a blow out for the Yanks. YOTN, please eat some pasta to keep this close.
  6. Has anybody seen Gammons on NESN pre or post-game coverage of the Sox games? I have seen him on the post-game show and he seems a little bit slow in understanding and reacting to the conversation. He also seems to be slurring a bit. It could be residula effects of his massive stroke a few years back.
  7. I have no idea how this record is good for the sport. Whose accomplishment is this-- the players for having long careers or the Yankees for keeping them on the team. If they each played 16 major league seasons for multiple teams, would their accomplishment be any less significant. This so-called record is really not an accomplishment, but rather just an answer to a very obscure trivia question.
  8. But today many Americans ascribe to his socialist economic policies. However, I think we can all agree that he had a real blindspot for international diplomacy.
  9. He was a major prick.
  10. Talk about an obscure meaningless record. Had it not been for World War II interrupting 4 seasons this would not have been a record.
  11. Two plays cost us the game-- the blown DP call at first base and Scutaro's error.
  12. We'll see that a few times from Beltre this season.
  13. That's what the eyes were telling me. I'm glad the metrics got this one right.
  14. I saw a few of those in Ft. Myers. I don't know what the fielding metrics say, but he is not very impressive in the field. He makes errors on some pretty routine balls.
  15. Nice inning by Bard. No stink there either.
  16. Mickey Rivers was a dirt-bag degenerate gambler who had the nerve to ask for a raise on a post-game show after winning MVP of a nationally televised Saturday Game of the Week, because he had squandered his entire year's pay at the track and he was out of money. When the rivalry was heating up, fans at Yankee stadium were throwing batteries at the Red Sox OFers. When the Yankees went to Fenway, legend has it that Rivers got nailed in the arm with game dart. It was 1976 when the "Red Sox Suck" chant started at Yankee Stadium, and I went to high school with the douche bag who started the chant that night. Of course the Fenway faithful were not to be outdone.
