  1. It was great to see Pedro and the Lowell ovation. Always honor our champs.
  2. The turning point was when Chan Ho Park entered the game. I could see this coming when the Yankees signed him in the off season. http://www.talksox.com/forum/damn-yankees/13833-yankees-interested-chan-ho-park.html#post525793
  3. The Sox need to get that horse CC out of the game
  4. Yaz would've hit that ball so hard that the first baseman would be glad that he still had his head.
  5. When I saw Scutaro at ST, I was surprised how small and slight he is. Nice hit by Scutaro.
  6. Swinging K from Beltre. Get used to seeing that.
  7. Our deep pitching and stellar defense is on full display tonight. Next inning Atchinson. Who? Offense is highly overrated. Who needs Manny or Bay.
  8. Shoenweiss is warming in the 4th inning. I just threw up in my mouth.
  9. I really hate when the umps think that they are part of the event. Does anybody remember Ron Luciano. He was a showboating ump who became an announcer. Yaz hated his showboating and inserting himself as a spectacle. Anyway, in Luciano's book "The Empire Strikes Back" he recounted an interaction with Yaz when Yaz was in a slump. Luciano used to like to talk to the players during the game even when he was umpiring the plate. He's ask them about their families etc. Yaz stepped into the box this one day and turned to Luciano and said: "My wife is fine, my kids are fine, I haven't had any good Polish food lately, and my son Mike is hitting .400. Now shut the f*** up and let me hit.
  10. Bad cal by the first base ump. He was back in safely.
