    They would ordinarily be more pre-disposed to side with the Yankee player since the Yankees have control over their career. The fact that they criticized their own player meant that the evidence was overwhelming. Also, they had watched what had transpired earlier in the game (Tex got HBP) and they watched the play on replay from many more angles. The MLB guys are not going to be as immersed with one team's games. They see highlights, comment and try to be entertaining. I give what they say very little stock.
