Just get this horseshit World Series between these two horseshit teams over with.
-
I can hardly wait for this bore of a series is over so the FO can get on with building the 2011 Sox. I can't take watching two teams play for the championship that the injured 2010 sox could have beaten.
-
Favre is a self-centered narcissist, but I don't know if that is the same as being a Diva. The guy gets beat up every Sunday, and he never misses a game. He plays with all sorts of injuries and broken bones-- injuries that would send Ellsbury packing for Arizona.

Throw all the bouquets that you want at Belechick. This Patriot team is not championship caliber. It's competitive. Big whoop. That's more a result of parity than genius coaching. They've played two good teams so far and they are 1-1. They got dominated by the Jets and they squeaked out a 3 pt win against Baltimore. They were practically given the game by an underperforming crappy San Diego team which played like they were asleep until the 3rd Quarter. The Patriots are way over-rated.

This is what the Yankees should have done to the Rangers. Thankfully, Girardi short-circuited any possibility of that happening.
-
Of course he wouldn't. The last two anti-Moss posts were just opportunistic cheap shots.

I thought the first place to serve a hamburger was in Connecticut. I saw it on the Travel Channel. It still exists.

A three-year deal with Girardi is near: I wish it was 5 years or longer. http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/yankees/yankees_girardi_agree_to_year_deal_pQ4CTDgWYm7kMxSR1lVRaJ

He is too big for his legs to make it through his contract term.

You never had to sell me on getting Greinke. I am one of the few posters that is not concerned with his ability to handle the Boston pressure. As for Ortiz, I think he will come back for anything approaching market value. As I said, if he's not back next season, it will be because the FO didn't want him back and they lowball him, I.e., they don't negotiate in good faith. If they negotiate in good faith and make a fair offer, he'll be back.

MLB making plans to add two more wild card teams
a700hitter replied to Dipre's topic in Other Baseball
I still don't like the wild card, but I don't completely hate it, because we needed it to win the first championship. I really think what differentiates baseball from other sports is that it is such a marathon and the regular season means more than in most sports. You should add a poll to this thread. -

It's a little suspicious that Girardi, the imbecile released this information. This has CYA written all over it.

Looks like a rationalization planted with the press.

I think the Yankees should go to Haiti as a show of support during this Cholera outbreak. That would be a wonderful humanitarian gesture. On the way back, they could all stop at Mo's house to go for a swim in his re-wired swimming pool.
