  1. With the signing of Jenks, it is being reported that the Red Sox payroll has exceeded the Yankee payroll.
  2. Thank goodness that we will not have to endure Eric Patterson again.
  3. It looks like Theo and I are on the same page ...again.
  4. Zambrano would be more dumpster diving. I love it. Let them get Zambrano, Prior, maybe even Smoltz. Not a good plan.
  5. There's room for Tejeda too. Right now, we have a pen with Bard. Papelbon, Atchinson and Dubront. Hopefully, Wakefield will get cut.
  6. I could live with Aardsma and Jenks. Sox may be waiting to see what happens with Soriano. I am sure that they would try to block him from going to the Yankees.
  7. He became almost apiece of Americana. RIP
  8. I think Cameron will be splitting time with Ellsbury and Drew depending on the matchups. He will also be taking some ABs for Ortiz. In those cases, Drew might be the DH. I think last season's performance against lefties was exacerbated by the fact that the top RH hitters were DL'd for big parts of the season. With the big righties out of the lineup, Drew and Ortiz were really worked over by the lefties. They never had to give in to Drew or Ortiz, because they didn't have a lot of protection behind them. In 2011, if Terry drops them in the order against lefties, they will still not have much protection behind them, but they should be batting with more runners on base in front of them than they did in 2010. That will put more pressure on the pitchers causing more mistakes.
  9. Screw him he stinks. He has been lucky that he has been DL free for 3 years. He's due for a lengthy stay on the DL.
  10. Another reliever comes off the board. I'm not a big fan of his.
  11. It would be just like the Yankees to pull off a trade for a major guy in return for over-hyped prospects like Montero.
  12. Hypocritical Family man and devoutly religious hypocrite Andy Pettitte will squeeze some of the Cliff Lee money out the Yankees. Hopefully, the HGH will stop working and his elbow ligament will blow apart in the opening home sries.
  13. Jacko is scared to death. The Red Sox just signed two young total studs for 7 and 8 years. The Yankees have 3 starting pitchers, an aging lineup and they are dumpster diving.
  14. The Yanks are dumpster diving now. They are going to sign Prior.
  15. If I ever meet him, I'll be nice to him, but that will not change the fact that he stinks.
  16. The signing of Martin could be setting up the movement of Montero in prospect package. Hopefully, the Yanks don't pull off one of their patented moves where they package up a few over-hyped prospects for a real good major leaguer like Greinke. That would suck.
  17. Why do we need to be positive about guys that suck? The only positive thing about Albers is he will hopefully not pitch any innings for the big club.
  18. When I use the term roster filler, I am also referring to the minor league rosters. Someone needs to be the 5th guy out of the pen in Pawtucket and Portland. There is a need for garbage like this. I understand that. But they are still yukky.
