  1. Fake News from Jacko. Friends of mine are criticizing me for passing on false information from Jacko about Spring Training being cancelled. Stick to the medicine, Jacko.
  2. I assume that the teams will still work out a scrimmage.
  3. Shut your mouth if you run into my wife.
  4. People are really in a state of hysteria, imo. And I don't need to give Mrs. A700 any government imposed restrictions on physical contact.
  5. Let's revisit that in a couple of weeks. I will take precautions, but I will continue to live my life.
  6. The risk of that is minor.
  7. I am healthy and not elderly. If Tom Hanks who is older than me with type 2 diabetes comes thru this in good shape, I will have no worries. I will continue to enjoy traveling the country without the annoying crowds.
  8. If they cancel the season, do the players get paid?
  9. Oye. Are you typing while encased in bubble wrap? LOL!
  10. The ball is changed more frequently than once per AB, and only the defense touches the ball. If a team gets an infected player, that team should be quarantined, but I see no reason why they can't continue to play the games. There is no physical interaction between teams except tag plays.
  11. I didn't see him taking any fielding. Interesting. I didn't know about that.
  12. He has shown some pop, but he will be blocked at catcher for a few years barring an injury to Vasquez.
  13. 780 MLB players. I think it is a safe bet that someone gets it. Would that be enough to shut down the season? I would hope that they would quarantine that team. There isn't a lot of physical contact in baseball.
  14. He may be an opener.
  15. ERod continues to look really good this Spring. I can't believe that we still have that pig Brasier.
  16. Good news on Verdugo. Lots of progress. Verdugo has been on solid food for more than a week, and his bowel function has been normal. Over the last 2 days he has progressed from a wheel chair to a walker for 15 minutes three times a day. This is very encouraging.
  17. The offense was in neutral until Benintendi was moved out of the top of the order.
  18. Agreed. This team is shaping up a very dull group, and lacking pitching talent. The most excitement in camp during my trip was centered around Big Papi’s presence around the batting cages. There was also some buzz to watch JD Martinez, but not much else. And Ron Roenicke doesn’t seem to command much attention from his troops. And the rest of the coaching staff could blend in with the fans wearing jerseys.
  19. Right handed he’d be better than the options for the 4th and 5th spots.
  20. Sale will throw on the side on Friday. That may be the team’s biggest “must win” of the season.
  21. He was huge disappointment last season in the minors after a lot of hoopla in Spring Training. He has been a nonentity in camp this Spring.
  22. I like the Connie Mack Rule. The pitchers go 9 innings and finish what they started because I am not paying another pitcher to finish your game. It should help with the Luxury Tax threshold.
  23. The 4th will also be a bullpen game if Weber starts.
