    Benny Boy hasn't set the world on fire with any of his deals yet, but I thought he could dump a player by at least sending him to the NL. He couldn't get that right? We get to face him for 4 games right after the All Star Break. That's good, he'll have time to fill in Konerko and the rest of their hitters about our pitchers.

    After DMac goes, who goes when Sweeney and CC comeback? Read my posts. My issue isn't that we got nothing for him. My issue is that if we were going to get nothing for him, send him to the NL where he can't stick it up our ass as we compete with the White Sox for a Wild Card.

    The safety of their keyboards? What is Cherington doing... taking incoming artillery? Please! The biggest problem that I have with this move is that if you were going to give away Youk-- and make no mistake they gave him away-- give him to an NL team. It baffles me that they traded him to a team that we still have to play and that is fighting for a Wild card berth. Were these guys so much better than nothing that we had to make Youk a competitor? That's the issue for me, but probably one of those little details that Benny overlooked. The danger of his GM suite at Fenway probably compromised his judgment.

    Which gives brent about 3 weeks or less with the Sox, cause he'll be the first one cut when CC comes back.

    I remember those plays. They were on back to back plays. What OFer do we cut to keep him?

    Lilibit is 28 years old and has a .641 OPS. He is a horrendous middle IFer. He has been playing mainly OF for the ChiSox. Does anyone see a fit with Boston in the OF? They should have just given him to the Dodgers rather than trade him to a competitor. Addition by subtraction? We are finally winning games at a good clip. What was the rush?

    I would have been disappointed getting Matt Thornton, but that would be the steal of the century compared to Zack whoever the f*** and Lilibit.
