We landed Steven Gonzales (sp) and Matt Andriese (sp). Why are you complaining? The rotation is looking to be a deeper pile of garbage than the 2020 rotation.

Mookie was smart. He took the big multi-year offer on the table from the Dodgers, instead of waiting for free agency. I don’t think there will be a lot of big multi year contracts given out in a Covid off-season. I don’t anticipate one of the any of the big names coming off the board for January. It would be a smart move for a big free agent to take a larger one-year contract this off-season, assuming that it might be prorated, and look for the multi year deal next off-season.

Give me a SS with good hands and an accurate arm. Bogey’s range isn’t that bad. Plus, he is younger than Semien and still improving.

Metrics? Bogey is much steadier.

Semien’s hands are not that good and his arm is erratic.

Depth signing? For a deeper pile of garbage? Andriese guy stinks. He is AAA depth if the minors play in 2021.

The guy can hit. He is significantly better than anyone who has played 1B for the Red Sox in several seasons.

At what age did Big Hurt stop playing D? Probably 10 years before he retired. I saw him up close when he was with the A’s. The guy is huge. You could hang two billboards on his back. He made Papi look small.

Rosario would give them 3 left handed OFer, each of whom can play CF. It would also allow Renfroe plenty of opportunity to platoon against LH pitchers. -
Do big heavy muscled guys have better longevity in baseball? I don’t think so.
