There is no reason to get rid of him in a cheap contract year.

Even though Benintendi has been disappointing, he is a much superior offense player to Kiki Hernandez. It isn’t even close. And his contract is less expensive. I don’t see the big rush to send him out the door.

i think CF will be a rotation of Beni, Verdugo and Kike. I think Kike will play about 40% or more of his games in the OF.

I think 10 times was hyperbole. We will not get Ozuna for the $12 million, but the extra $12 million could help landing a pitcher or Ozuna when added to the remaining budget.

We have 3 CFers and no big bat in the OF. I’d rather get Ozuna than another light hitting CFer.

Realistically, Holt will get about one-quarter of what we signed Kike for 1 year.

Semien is competing with Andrelton Simmons and Didi Gregorius. I don’t think that will help his market.

Brock Holt’s career OBP is 25 points higher and he probably would cost $1-1.5 million for one season. I am not getting this move.
